The American Fur Trade of the Far West, Volume 1

I am an avide student of this period in our history. I found this volume (and Vol 2) to be a great read with good attention to detail. A must read for any serious student on this period.

A very good book of the fur trade. One who reads must realize that it was written in the style of the early 1900s.

very detailed information about the early trappers in part of Americas history that little has been know about. good reading for the history buff.

I am extremely happy with the book it is in great condition. I am not displeased at all very good thanks.

these books, vol 1 &2 were orignally written in 1902. excellant source of early history of the fur trade.Highly recommend both of these books.
