easy to use and to get chicken fat for future use

We have had several different Chicken post over the years but the bottom eventually rusts through requiring a replacement. This is by far the poorest quality. The metal of the bottom is much thinner than previous ones we have had, meaning it will likely need replacement sooner. Further the wire that holds the chicken was bent out of shape on the first one we received. It came in thin box shipped in a Pat from Amazon. We thought it was damaged in shopping so we ordered a replacement. The second one wasn’t crushed as badly, but the wire is just as flimsy and would not hold up the chicken. Eventually we just took the wire from the old one and attached it to the new base making if usable, but it’s overall poor quality is much too highly priced. Not recommend. I would have gotten another brand if one was available.

Had one before - it lasted me many years.

This roaster is a scaled down, flimsy remake of an old reliable American product that isn't made in America anymore. Such a shame. The roaster seems to be good for about one or two uses before it has to be discarded. The bowl is about 1/3 to 1/2 of the roasters I used to be able to purchase, so it does not/cannot hold the rendered fat of previous roasters. I have to wonder if the Chinese think we're roasting pigeons in these things. Won't support roasting more than a about a 2.5 lb chicken. Very disappointed in this purchase.

I bought this product 2 years ago and used it more than a dozen times. It worked so well and my family loved the chicken so much that I gave it to my son when he moved out and I ordered 2 more to replace it.What a horrible dissappointment to find that the quality of this item has fallen so low that it is nearly useless. The thickness of the metal is HALF what it used to be and bends when putting the unit together. The metal is so thin that it also bent halfway through cooking and the chicken fell over on its side. Even with the baking sheet underneath it left a huge mess.
