Works great just put batteries in & it works perfectly

My Vizio is old! I don't precisely know how old because it was given to me, without a remote. But the pic above gives you a clue. The remote was delivered today and I realized there was no booklet, or a pdf link when I checked this page. I know my tv can't work with ALL the buttons, but it does work with the majority. I can control: *mute *volume *up/down channel *wide/zoom function *numeric channel buttons; long line button to enter for example 25.1 *programming guide *exit *power *input *channel info *navigate arrows, up/down/left/right *ok selection *closed captioning, on/off/type *a circular arrow icon that switches between the last two channels Unfortunately I can't access the menu with this remote, though I can navigate through it, make selections, and exit, but only after pressing the menu button on the tv manually. Luckily the settings in menu are mainly only used when setting up the tv. No clue what what the silver double V icon does. Nothing on my tv. Someday may have use for the brand buttons (amazon/netflix/mgo). Or the recording buttons. But basically am happy and very satisfied. Very well made.

Works perfectly, all I do is put in new batteries and it's good to go without having to go through the hassle of programming it...just a bit irritated that this is the second time I ordered the blue one and got black...maybe change that in the picture??

Fourth I’ve bought in as many weeks… each worked as it should as soon as batteries installed… why four? Well, there must be something in the plastic or the buttons, but this electrical device is simply the most interesting and tasty object that I inadvertently leave laying around…. I have one dog that literally eats anything it can grab…. Thank God for otter box! Regardless, this product is a very economical replacement and functions as it should.

I have four different remotes on my bed right now and in the spring and summer it will be 5:00. I don't know how it happened but my original Vizio remote got waterlogged and none of the other ones did. That said, of course it didn't work anymore. I use it to go to sleep so I wanted the timer and the ability to adjust the volume because I wear hearing aids, but I need the background noise when I go to sleep and I need to at least understand what they're saying. Anyhow back to the review I got this overnight. It arrived the next morning brought it in the house stuck two AAA batteries in it and it worked immediately no programming no anything! That's a bonus for me because I'm not a handy woman! It works perfect just like my old one it's set up a little different but I'll get used to it. So grateful
