Teak Wood Folding Shower Seat, Bench, Stool - Bath, Sauna Seating

I have had 5 of these stools for 3 years now. Best item I’ve purchased to make my compact home more adaptable yet also incredibly modern and stylish. Had to tighten the screws in only one of them after frequent use. One is currently in the shower, one is outside on the porch, two are folded in the living room (available for added seating when guests come or as a table in front of the couch) and one is in the nursery next to the rocker for books. I almost replaced it with a v shaped book display from crate and barrel for $160, until I realized I could just turn the stool upside down. I really can’t get over these.

Needed a stool in my tub/shower and am so glad I purchased this one. It's really attractive and sturdy. The toilet in my tiny bathroom is right next to the tub. Because the tub curves on the inside, it doesn't slide all the way to the end, but there's still enough room to get in and out. I don't oil it but do let it dry out between showers. Once it's dry, and once I figured out which slats to push on, it closes easily so I can store it out of the way against the wall, behind my towel rack.

Bought this years ago and it has lived in the bathtub, living room, bedroom, and kitchen. Serves a variety of purposes (seat for the frail in the bathtub, suitcase stand, footstool, dining room seat, extra chair, and looks great still. Would heartily recommend it for those who need a seat in the shower but are depressed by the idea of one of those plastic monstrosities. Plus, it folds flat for storage. Water has not weakened or stained mine in any way. It's quite handsome looking, and looks far more expensive than what it cost. A win-win situation!

I bought this bench after quite a lot of research. I wanted to be able to sit down in the bathtub. I am very pleased with my selection. I have a standard size bathtub, and this is the perfect size. Similar products were a bit too long to fit. This one is perfect. It arrived quickly and in good condition. The wood is beautiful, it folds up nearly flat, and the bench is very well crafted. I treated mine with Teak Oil and am happy with the choice. Overall excellent product - would buy again!

I ordered this to have in case I need a shower seat when I don't feel well. I oiled it with oil made for teak, and it opens and closes well, even after having been in the shower. It folds flat and I can stand it between the toilet and the wall, where it is completely out of the way when not in use. It isn't the most stylish teak bench, but it is perfect for my use, and supports more weight than benches I saw in stores.

I use this first in the shower as a place to prop a leg up for shaving and then washing. Then I use it to put on make up and do my hair. It was a bit of a pain to seal but definitely worth it since I will be using it in wet and humid environments. It has never felt unsteady as my 200lb body sits on it almost daily.

I have had one of these for 7 years and used it as a shower stool. It held up beautifully. I moved and it became an outdoor table. I rubbed some oil in it and it looks like new. I recently ordered another one and they have become seating in my garden. Very well made and I like that it can fold up for storage. I am tempted to buy more of them for outdoor seating.

I cannot express to you how much I love this product. I was just joking to my friend that this product was the best 70 dollars I'd ever spent, and although that may be a slight exaggeration, it's still not off by much.First of all, ladies, all of you know what a pain in the you know what it is to shave your legs in a stand up only shower. The feet slipping on the tile wall, bending the bars on the sliding doors, trying to hook up suction cup thingies that fall off at the most inopportune times. This thing solves all of that. I just prop my foot on the bench and woila! No struggling for balance or living in fear that my foot-prop will break or fall at any time . Sometimes (often?), when I'm feeling particularly lazy, I just plop down on the thing and shave that way.Secondly, the thing is well made. I bought it over a year and a half ago, and it's still going strong. No mold, no rotting, just as sturdy as the day I bought it. If you are buying it for the folding aspect, this may not be the best choice, because when I moved about 4 months ago I tried to fold it, and I couldn't (I didn't try all that hard though). I didn't buy it for that, so it doesn't bother me in the least.Lastly, and a testament to it's sturdiness, is that it's great for a couple's "extracurricular" activities in the shower. My boyfriend and I add up to 350 pounds, and this thing has been broadening our horizons in the shower since we bought it. I encourage many of my friends who hate showering with significant others to order this, it has changed several of their minds!!!
