Do not buy
The footrest on this chair sticks out horribly. There is no way to fold it back out of the way when transferring someone in or out of the chair. This is a serious design flaw which makes the chair useless for someone who actually needs help getting in and out of it. After three months of pain for my mom getting in and out of it we purchased another option. Save your money on this one.

Spend more money to get quality. This is cheaply built and not a solid chair.
