It folds very easily--there is an easily operated latch on the back of the chair which you push and then push on the back of the chair. If the seat cushion is removed (easy--it's just velcro'd) the chair folds quite compactly. Very well designed--folds more easily than our manual chairs!

Q: Return policy? if for any reason i don't like it can i return it with no charge?

You can return it but you will be charged 434.85 restocking fee plus your responsible for shipping which in my case was 274.00. Not great customer service in my book. Nowhere on the Amazon site did the description say 15% restocking fee if returned and simply said free shipping.

Q: Is this chair "rugged" and well built in spite of it's lightweight? I'm around 330lb and this will be my "go anywhere, do anything chair."

I ordered the XL chair for a wider sitting area as well as the reclining back. I'm 6'3" and around 300lbs. I did a lot of research before I purchased this model. I've had the chair for a little over a month now and it has worked flawlessly. Comfortable, plenty of power, the joystick makes maneuverability a breeze. I have a ramp to get into my house and it goes up and over the threshold with ease. I'm very happy 😊 with this chair. I called the distributor in California and they sent me a free battery, cover, and cupholder at no charge, not even shipping. I would also recommend the 4" seat bottom cushion at the cost of $120. The cushion is made for the chair with velcro sewn in so it stays on the chair without sliding around. I did a complete charge when it arrived and I've used the chair just about everyday and I just gave it its 1st charge last night. I hope this helps you in making your decision. Q: What is the difference between the porto mobility ranger d09s and the d095 xl?

only difference is XL seat (space between armrest) about 2" wider than the standard offering more spacious seating.
