The tablet in question being a Samsung 14.6" - a heavy monster.Mainly used in landscape - only a half inch unsupported each end, good in portrait too.It's VERY sturdy and stable - reliable.Mostly because I use it "flat" - the extenders flat that is.Sits behind gel wrist rest nicely.I viewed innumerable stands trying to find the right one.THIS is the best of the 3 I actually bought, 2 of which I actually use; other one for charging.Dimensions are accurate - makes a change and was one reason I chose it.I bought silver as the cheapest option in case it was unsuitable.If the size works for you - BUY it!

Very professional and useful

Really good laptop stand. As I am now working from home due to the pandemic, I had to do a desktop risk assessment for my job and realised that my laptop was sitting too low next to my second monitor and was actually the cause for my shoulder pain. After getting this laptop stand and setting up my work space this has almost completely been resolved and I couldn’t be happier!The stand itself is sturdy and fully supports the weight of my laptop. The joints are stiff enough to not slip/adjust itself when a laptop is sitting on the stand because of the weight but not so stiff that you can’t adjust the stand to suit your needs. It’s fairly lightweight but the base plate is still heavy enough to make it sturdy when in use. It has also helped with my laptop overheating as the baseplate has a hole to let air circulate and the fan to still work. This stand has become a staple part of my being able to work from home and I think anyone else in the same boat would greatly benefit from it’s use, the same as I have!

This is the best stand I have ever bought, it is a real must, strong and looks superb. you can alter it whatever your preference is, great for standing up and working also. We have two in our household and do not know how we managed without them. they are so good for sitting correctly without slouching and really great for standing up and working and still stand straight no slouching. I would recommend to anyone who views this item.

I have something similar to this back home. This is a lot bigger (bigger than my 13" laptop andvery light. I was surprised. It's sturdy enough (not as sturdy as the one I have at home but this is not bad at all) very satisfied with the product.

It stays upright at all sorts of angles then folds down really well. It is definitely great value for money

I don't normally write product reviews - I am generally too busy and, to be honest, I normally can't be bothered (even if incentives are being offered!) - but on this occasion I had to make an exception! I am an engineer and I am genuinely impressed. I am impressed by product, the standard of manufacture and its functionality - 'it does exactly what it says on the can'! If you need a laptop riser and you are and concerned that your precious bit of IT equipment could fall to the floor, the security of this item may be for you. It isn't cheap but I think it genuinely is worth it and I would buy it again (if I needed a second one).

I chose this one as it’s slightly larger than most others for sale on Amazon. The larger size means it seems to be very stable even when on a high setting with my 15 inch laptop. I’m using it with the lower bars at about 45 degrees and the upper plate also around 45 degrees from horizontal which makes the centre of the screen at around eye level for me which is great. At that height the camera angle is also favourable when making video calls. The joints are pretty stiff and take a fair amount of force to move them when adjusting the stand which I like, as before buying it I was wondering if the joints would get loose after many adjustments. Having said that I probably won’t ever adjust it unless storing or transporting the stand. The finish and aesthetics seem good, so not really anything I can fault it on so far. Amazon are providing a small gift voucher in return for this review which motivated me to write it.
