Cut out a lot of scenes but keep the meat of the play. Perfect introduction for first time readers of Shakespeare

I purchased this for my 8 1/2 year old son to introduce him to some Shakespeare and I knew he would like this story and of course he likes graphic novels. I did know there was death but I forgot about ALL the deaths. Like the many many deaths. Well he obviously loved it but it is probably too violent for his age. He’s read it now probably 5 times and we enjoy saying “et tu, brute?”, to each other throughout the day. I think it’s A pretty cool way to read Shakespeare. I will double check the age recommendation next time before buying another.

This is going to help my students tremendously!! Highly recommend using a graphic novel concept to help struggling students learn Shakespeare!

This is an outstanding graphic representation of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. It's very accessible, and I'm considering trying to find a way to get a class set for my 10th grade English class.

Disegno accattivante e una buona riduzione. Da liceale l'avrei adorato, l'avrei copiato in tutte le salse sul diario, ne avrei tirato fuori chissà cosa. Purtroppo non lo sono più da 18 anni ma il mio "fanciullo interiore" gode sempre tantissimo di ogni opera che rielabori in maniera frizzante i grandi classici, per offrirli in una veste che possa avvicinare i ragazzi alla grande letteratura.
