GREAT LIGHT BUT NOT UL APPROVED OR LISTED
Within minutes of delivery by USPS my new light was installed in my basement storage area. The light looks great and was easy to install. I am pleased with the product with the exception of a lack of UL approval. From a safety perspective anything to be used inside my home that does not have a UL listing or approval I tend to avoid. I will be watching this light closely ...........

Bright, inexpensive.
These lights are bright, and inexpensive. They are, however, a bit on the "cheap" feeling side. This doesn't really matter, however as once they are installed, you don't really need to interact with them. These have 4 wings and a 5th central down light, so they put out a good deal of light and cover a large area. The wings are the only slightly odd aspect of this design. Most lights of this style have wings that fold down, while this model folds up. This has 2 drawbacks: 1) when installing the light in a tight area, like an attic fixture in the peak, the wings must be lowered to access the base, but they might then stick out too far to the sides to allow the light to screw into the base. The "normal" design with fold-down wings always has the base accessible in a slim package allowing the light to fit in any space a regular bulb would fit, then have the wings fold out to whatever angle they can. In order to screw this light in, the wings need to be deployed making the total space required to install much larger. 2) As the light face has a maximum deployment to perpendicular to the base, there is no way to have the light in a shielded configuration, with the wings facing down and slightly in - this becomes an issue in spaces with a low ceiling you will basically always have this (very bright) light shining directly into your eyes. So, if you have a large space with a fairly high/normal height ceiling with nice open light fixture bases, these are great, bright, inexpensive lights. But for lower, more space constrained installations, these lights might not be ideal

Wow! Really bright and white
My 2-car garage is lit be 4 dual 40" florescent tube lights that are about 20 years old. I've changed the tubes in them at least a couple of times. This LED light blows them right out of the water. I installed one to see how it works, and now I'm getting another; 2 of them will more than make up for all the florescents I've been using.Installation was easy; biggest problem was removing the old florexcent light. (I've got 3 more to do.) 2 screws is all that's needed to attach the LED light fixture to a ceiling joist; the LED screws right in just as stated. This is a much more cost effective way to light a garage - or any place else - and it looks much better than the florescent lights.

So bright, so much eye hurt, awesome
Wow! When I read "60 watts," I was skeptical, having grown up with weak 60 watt incandescent bulbs. But the nifty fins were too much of a curiosity to pass up, so I clicked the buy button. The bulbs arrived folded up into such a compact package, I thought I'd been swindled. But I went ahead and swapped out what I THOUGHT was a fairly decent LED bulb-shaped bulb for this fancy fan-looking thing and flipped the garage light switch. Stupid me, I was looking directly at the fixture when I did so, in order to evaluate my new acquisition's effectiveness. My retinas MIGHT recover by the end of the week! I felt like a newly minted vampire stepping into the sunlight by mistake! If anything goes awry with the bulbs, I'll post an update, but in the meantime, I'm off to buy another pair to light up my basement's dreary corners.

Amazing! Outperformed 5 100w equivalent LED bulbs.
Wow! I wanted to add more light to my garage so I ordered a 5 to 1 adaptor and install 5 100w equivalent led bulbs and while brighter than before the spread of the light went very good. I ordered this light and OMG it is amazing! The fan like light blades spread the light every where. Fantastic product can’t comment on longevity but great value and amazing light output.

very impressive
Most of us are familiar with LED bulbs by now and are aware they come in many forms.I use them as standard or "cob" bulbs in my regular fixtures and ceiling fans, as 4' lights in my shop and as under counter lighting as well. This was selected for my laundry room in the basement. Formerly I had a 20w LED cob bulb in this fixture. Aprox. the brightness of an 125w incandescent bulb, and it gave adequate light.Changing this bulb allowed me to get more and more "versatile" light in this area. I did not have to change the fixture as this screws into a standard E26 (also known as an Edison base) socket. Not only did this improve the lighting in the laundry area but the adjustable (deformable) wings, allowed me to direct light to other areas of the basement as well. The three feature items asked for quick reference in this review were interesting.1, Brightness, These are very bright. You might not believe how much light is produced by these LED lamps. The light they produce is very bright but not harsh. They don't make me want to squint.2, Ease of installation, Installing these is as easy as changing a light bulb.3, Longevity, the only one I couldn't answer as they are new and time will have to pass to answer this but I will update this once I have some info to offer.

very good!
quality bright lights and easy to useThe workmanship and materials are excellent! I love this light it’s replaced my old fluorescent tube that used far too much electricity. it’s very bright and at least 4 times brighter. It is very easy to install, simply screw into a bulb socket. and above all, it looks good and I would definitely buy these again, I will definitely recommend this to family and friends. Excellent!

Very bright - wide coverage
I wanted a brighter and wider coverage light for my home office (size of a small bedroom) - in part because it had a single CFL bulb on the ceiling fan and the high ceiling. This filled the bill - possibly too bright, there are some shadows now, but I can't really complain about that. Wish it was dimmable (haven't tried that, but the description warns against it). Also good that it has five LED lights - the four panels and the one center round light.I am going to get some more for my shop which has a lot of dark areas.Note that it is unlikely that this would fit into any fixture that extends past the screw in socket.
