This is another great tool, but not near as costly as my Makita. This is as effective as any demo hammer from Bosch or Makita, at 1/5th the cost. It’s solid, built to last and vey effective for removing cut concrete ribbons and punching through concrete floors. It’s not too loud or bulky, and it’s got fairly good ergonomics. It stores well and stays clean with a wipe down after use. It’s a great tool and worth the extra cost as compared to lesser tools. AFTER 25 HOURS: This is a very good demo hammer, that makes my $900 Makita look very bad. I have broken up a patio slab, a slump stone wall and a garage floor without much effort, using the tools it comes with. It was shipped with additional brushes, but the unit has almost no wear in almost 40 hours of use. I am very satisfied with the unit, and spend evenings looking for new things to demolish, just to see what it can do. It has power to spare, and unlike many Chinese products, I am impressed by this demo drill, it will be used a lot, and I will not consider it a throw away any time soon.

I needed to remove the old Chattahoochee at my entrance to install new pavers and didn't want to place new pavers on something that had cracks and pitch's, so I started to remove the ch by a concrete chisel and sledgehammer, boy was that very daunting task. I went to one of the majors Big Box hardware stores to rent a hammer jack and their website advertised for the cart and chisel together.Thought when I arrived, they were separate charges, however they were already packaged together... being annoyed on being deceived, only rented just the jackhammer for 4 hours as I really wanted to finish the small area I started. Well ran out of time so I returned the rental. I was exhausted for 2 days afterwards. really didn't want to start again with the hand and chisel method, so searched online and found this on amazon.BOY what a "game changer" in so many ways... it was much lighter than the rental, and also came with the tools to chisel out the epoxy rocks, all packaged neatly in a case to store when not in use. The best part was the AOBEN 1-1/4 Inch SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer Drill costs less than a 4-hour rental. Smaller, lighter and much more efficient in completing my task, and I now own an awesome Rotary Hammer Drill so many other projects I plan to do in the future. The reviews posted on Amazon were go so thought they all couldn't be wrong, and they weren't. Rule of thumb....when you finish using a tool really clean it down so it will last much longer.Couldn't be happier with my choice and believe you won't either if you give it a try, nothing to lose and a lot to gain.Hope you found this helpful, in your decision making. Leaving this to help other folks like me who are on the fence about this product. I needed to drill ~100 holes in my crawlspace wall in insert mechanical fasteners to hold my vapor barrier. I also need to drill a 3 3/4" hole through my brick siding to install a radon mitigation system. After these jobs are done, I don't have much use for a rotary hammer so didn't want to spend big bucks. I started drilling 1/4" holes in my block wall for fasteners and it was taking FOREVER. Once this arrived, I cleaned out as much of the provided grease as possible and replaced with red tacky per some of the other reviews. I used this last night to wrap up my crawlspace project and this thing is WICKED. The 1/4" holes ~1" deep were produced in about a second. This drill easily paid for itself if the one job I've completed with it so far. I certainly don't intend to use this everyday, but it is a great addition for a DIYer who regularly bites off more than they should.Update after my latest project -- Installing a radon mitigation system and needed to poke a 4.75" hole through brick. I wouldn't say it was easy, but this thing was definitely up to the challenge. Took half an hour or so including breaks but worked like a charm.

It covers what's expected - great drill, great hammer drill, and more importantly jackhammer! The hammer drill with the weight and handle behind your hold has amazing drilling capabilities. Was able to go into concrete and solid stone with no problem whatsoever - honestly, I was blown away. I've had some smaller versions of a hammer drill that really haven't produced - this one is like having the power of Thor in your hands. It's not too big and overwhelming but has enough power and weight to get most jobs done with no problem.The extras that come with this kit are 3 drill heads, 2 jackhammer plungers, and extra head, and an amazing case that has plenty of storage. Also comes with an additional 2 brush heads for the motor and lubrication oil and the head exchange wrench.Pros:- This thing is perfectly weighted in your hand whether pointing to the ground or hold straight out. Nice balance, they worked hard to make it feel great.- The power and control of the trigger are great- All of the different modes work amazing- The case is really well built- The machine feels well-built but not to heavyCons:- It could've come with eye protection but maybe I'm over thinking this - if you're buying this, you're more than likely a pro or already have protective wear.For sure wear eye protection, I've actually found that wearing my shooting headphones is necessary when jacking up concrete - nothing unexpected there.For the money you can't go wrong - I was second guessing as soon as I hit the buy button for the cost of this hammer drill - glad I have it in my arsenal of tools now for sure. I've had this hammer drill now for a number of months and have used it for installing heavy duty screws and for breaking up concrete and rock for post installations. Quality is good and so far has proven to be a well made drill for the price. I would imagine that the hammer/chisel functions would be pretty hard on electrical devices and parts but most of my use has been chiseling rock and it shows no issues or faults. The included bits are great but one thing I bought and would recommend it a drill bit chuck that fits the chuck on it so you can use all of your standard drill bits with it. I just looked at it again on Amazon and it's 50% off on the day of this posting. So, half what I paid. If you can catch it on sale it's an even better value, but I'd still buy again at full price.

I purchased this item to replace a cordless Milwaukee impact driver drill. Bottom line is this impact driver it very powerful. I used t for the first time today and it drilled a 1/2" hole through 8 inches of concrete like Hot butter. My old cordless driver would have never been able to get that job done especially as quickly and precisely as this model did. It comes in a rugged carrying case that has specific slots for the multiple accessories such as drillbits chisels etc. which are included The manual could use some work but it is not that difficult to decipher. The 13amps of power are great and the price for this impact driver was 1/3 the cost of my old Milwaukee Which could have never done what this driver did for me today. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a powerful yet cost efficient impact driver without even having to buy any accessories as they are all included; Well the standard ones anyway. You will not go wrong by purchasing this product. I envision that I will be using this a lot more often than I ever used my Milwaukee cordless. Great product. Just a quick word to a AOBEN -,Keep the great products coming at these great prices. Awesome value for an awesome product. I only wish I could give it six stars.

I bought this for one job, busting up my concrete sidewalk. It did that job and then I just started using it more and more. For the price, the quality is great, the parts are all solid and the product works as expected. I would buy again if my current drill breaks in the future.

Bought this tool for one purpose, one project and was scared whether it would survive because it was the cheapest, I could find. To my surprise, not only did it perform perfectly, but appears will last for several projects.One thing to note, the instructions sucked regarding loading a tool into the unit. It took me some time to figure it out as the actions required in no way resembles the instructions. Simply push the chuck all the way down, insert tool until it clicks, then release. The tool is locked in place at this point. I was not able to adjust the position of my chisel, so had to hold the unit in an awkward position to get the right angle of attack.Rated this a 4 because the price makes me think it won't last near as long as a quality brand, but is great if you only need it for a couple or projects.

I feel like the destroyer of worlds with this thing. Absolute tank that keeps going despite many hours of abuse, for about the same money as a rental.

Excellent value for the money!! Used it to break apart a 2 ton quartz boulder with a diablo bit... took only two days. Drill held up wonderfully and is still going strong! Impressed with the quality of the product. Would have given 5 stars for overall product if it didnt require grease all the time.... but thats a small inconvenience for the quality/price of the Aoben Rotary Hammer Drill. Would purchase another for a gift if they were still available.
