Purifyair Air Purifiers for Bedroom

I have purchased a number of different air purifiers over the years and this is by far the best. I have had this machine for 2 months and love it so much I purchased 3 more for myself and family. Filter replacement: The best part is the replacement filters are relatively inexpensive. Recently they were on sale 2 for $30 on amazon. I have air machines with washable filters that require a charcoal pre-filter which runs close to $10 each, every 3 months. Ouch. Other true HEPA filter machines I have use are Honeywell and Levoit. Both replacement filters run between $40 - $60. The filters are super easy to change. Performance: The air quality sensor seems very sensitive and changes color depending on contaminants detected. You can turn the indicator light off. When in auto mode, it detects issues, changes color and ramps up the speed. Someone smoking in an adjacent room eventually started a change in color as well as a smoking candle. Once it clears the area, the light goes back to blue and there is a noticeable improvement in smell. Size: It is truly compact and lightweight. Easy to move. The circular design allows more surface area. It is shorter than other machines (16 inches tall) and can sit on the floor or a table. I think its attractive. Lights: There is an air quality indicator that can be turned off, which is great if you don’t like additional lights on at night. One of my relatives likes that the light can serve as a nightlight. When the light is on, you can clearly see the quality indicator light (blue, green, amber, or red) from across the room. It has a nightlight. As best I can tell, if the air machine is off, you can turn on a night light that is amber. This is weird because amber is also the color of poor air if the machine is running. Noise: In auto mode is quiet unless it has detected an issue. Has sleep mode which is barely audible. Two months in, I hope if continues to be a great performing machine.

If you are familiar with air cleaners, then skip to the next paragraph. This is a wonderfully useful appliance that helps clean the high ppm pollution, bringing it down to a breathable, non-carcinogenic level. Breathing smoke is terrible. I usually place this near the kitchen when someone cooks, and transportation there is easy. I suspect that unless you are significantly physically impaired that you too can move it. This unit uses a round filter that must be replaced approximately biannually with regular use, a cost of around $30 anually to maintain. I find that cost worthwhile. It will keep a neutral smell in the placed location and is efficient for my living room that is connected to the dining room. This filter device has two hallmarks that make it stand out from others that I have used. 1) The most important is that it has a detection mode. You can leave it on auto, and it will detect the ppm pollution and change fan speed accordingly. This feature is color-coordinated according to the detected severity (red, orange, green, and then blue, from worst to cleanest). 2) It has a sleep timer that is useful for wanting the device to clean a smell or pollution, but you don't want to run it all day. The only con is that I would not say it is the quietest thing ever. I gave it a 4 of 5 in that area (so it's not horrible). It does create white noise that is enough to dampen sound (think of a slightly louder Dohm). To that effect, it may be able to pull double duty if you want white noise.

Product works great! Air smelled cleaner after just a few minutes. I live in a 320sqft apt but I'm certain this would work well for bigger places too. Bought it for cat dander, dust, and asthma problems, and it seems to be helping quite a lot already. It's bigger than I thought it would be but still fits nicely on a table. Nice and quiet too. It's super easy to use and has a well-written instruction manual. The digital menu on the purifier itself is super easy to figure out (every button is labeled) and has a ton of useful features (timer, auto-mode, sleep mode, etc). I do wish it had a child lock for the buttons (mostly because my cats keep turning it on/off) but that's a very small complaint. I'm very happy with it. Customer service is also fantastic. I've never had such a good experience with a third-party seller. My original package was suspected stolen (it wasn't placed into our package locker and I live in downtown Seattle...) and I was concerned I wouldn't be able to get help, but they got back to me within a day and sent me a new unit, no questions asked. It arrived less than two days later! tl;dr Awesome purifier, especially for the affordable price. Excellent customer service in case you have problems. Buy it. 👍

WHAT I LIKE: It's small. It's quiet (when on the lowest setting). (The highest setting, which promotes more air flow, is a loud fan sound.) It works well in SMALL rooms. (I have one small bedroom that's about 10 x 12; this strikes me as a good size for this purifier.) It's affordable. However, remember that when estimating the cost of an air conditioner, you have to factor in the price of the filter. At the moment, the filter for this one costs $25 on Amazon.... not cheap, but too bad considering that it should last for 6 months. The price of the filter comes to around $4.50 a month, or around 15 cents a day. This means the cost of operation should be around 20-25 cents a day, with the cost of electricity factored in. It has a genuine HEPA filter. Some comments mention that the filters were out of stock for a while, but at the time I'm writing this review, they appear to be easily available. (I just ordered one from Amazon). WHAT I DISLIKE: The ad says it's a "Vremi Premium True HEPA Air Purifier for LARGE ROOMS." They even mention living rooms. I hope no one buys it expecting this to be true, because this is NOT an air purifier for large rooms. This item, with its small size and quiet little fan, is for small to medium sized rooms. It actually takes a good chunk of time to clean the air and remove odors in rooms that are about 10 x 12. If you have a large living room or are dealing with a house that's filling up with wildfire smoke, this one is not going to work that well for you. IN SUM: It's nothing fancy... just a regular little air purifier with a HEPA filter to secure the dust and smoke, and a charcoal filter that absorbs some of the VOCs. Don't expect it to clean a living room or large den. But for small rooms such as most bedrooms, it works fine.

I bought this air purifier for my youngest son who has guinea pigs and was experiencing a mild reaction to them. They have animal dander and their hay throws a lot of particles into the air. Since their cage is in his home office, you can imagine how this gave him a scratchy throat and stuffy nose. He streamed the unboxing with me and moments after placing the unit next to their cage and turning it on, he commented that he already noticed an improvement. This air purifier (combined with a humidifier) have virtually eliminated his irritations. The auto setting works very well. When he adds new hay to their cage, the LED color changes and the fan increases in speed until it's done its magic and then it settles down again. Guinea pigs are sensitive creatures, and they do not mind the purifier's noise at all. The first picture shows how close it is to their cage. (You can see them sleeping together in one of the Pigloos(TM). So cute!) Since the first one worked so well, I bought a second unit for my other son who has a pre-asthmatic condition and experiences some irritation in his one-story townhouse. He was not sure it would cover the entire townhouse, but he placed it in a central location to see. The next day, he reported that the main living space felt much better and even his bedroom air quality had improved. In the pictures, you can see how the LED turns red for a while and changes back to blue when the air is better. I also had reason to contact Vremi's customer service regarding a billing question that Amazon could not resolve. They responded almost immediately (your mileage may vary) with a request for additional information. After I responded with the answers, they resolved the issue--again, almost immediately. I cannot say enough about their customer service. It is a big reason why I bought a second unit. Note: Be sure to follow the manual and open the unit to remove the plastic wrapper from the filter. Some of the negative reviews sound as if the customer neglected to remove it, and there is no way the unit can function if the filter is wrapped in plastic.

One of my daughters has allergy induced asthma (as do I) and we had been getting by with a small air purifier in her room at night. Despite frequent filter changes and cleaning- her asthma started giving her trouble as she spends more time at home with school being canceled until fall. After reading up, we went with the Vremi Large Room Air Purifier: and we are SO glad we did for a ton of reasons. 1- The filters last quite a long time and aren't insanely expensive. They're extremely easy to switch out. 2- It's really, really quiet, but not so silent that it won't appease those of us that like white noise. 3- The "Air Quality" setting and corresponding indicator lights is pretty bad ass. It kicks into a faster fan speed when it detects air particles in order to clear them quicker. It sucked my husband vape cloud up immediately (sucks to be him) and also lets me know when I need to change my shop vac filter. 4- It just looks really slick, and is compact and lightweight enough that my kids can move it around if need be. 5- My daughter doesn't have asthma attacks anymore and I don't hear the concerning night-time dry cough that let's me know her allergies are causing post-nasal drip. She sleeps much better (and now so do I) I plan on purchasing more in the future for other rooms.

We have a pet room in our house. The room has 3 dog kennels and a large bird cage, where our animals remain during the day when we're at work. They also sleep in this room at night. Before getting the Vremi purifier, the room always had a certain "funk" to it. It's all tile, no carpet, we'd keep it swept and mopped, as clean as we could, but it still always had a lingering pet smell. Once we got the Vremi, the room has virtually no smell at all! It smells like, nothing. Just clean, regular air. We have been so pleasantly surprised by this product that we plan on getting another one for our master bedroom. The different features like auto, timer, and speed are a really nice touch. When we put the animals to bed, I turn the Vremi on for 2 hours on speed 2. In the morning, when I let our animals out, the room smells clean. The product definitely isn't silent, but I don't think it is unreasonably noisy. It is in another room, so I don't stay in that room, but we've used it in our master bedroom a few times and I could easily sleep with this machine on. You hear it, but it's a very soft white noise. I actually enjoy it, but I could see how it might bother some people. It's not a big deal for us.

This air purifier is a lifesaver. I live in Portland, Oregon and the air quality where I live was hazardous (the AQI was between 400-500) for nearly 2 weeks due to severe wildfires. I kept it on full blast and it helped keep the air in my house breathable despite hazardous conditions. Whenever we opened the door after getting home from work it would glow red like seen in the photo. It would continue to show the air quality inside by turning orange and then green when the air quality was improving. After those two weeks the filter had turned grey from all the smoke. (I put in the grey looking filter from my photo the day the smoke issue began, the white filter is the replacement I purchased.) I would absolutely say it did it’s job! I have asthma and frankly I think having this air purifier was a lifesaver. Setting up the purifier is easy. Just twist off the bottom piece and remove the filter which is wrapped in plastic to protect it, then re-insert the filter. Plug it in and you’re done! I love how easy it was to set up. It’s also surprisingly quiet, it sounds similar to a box fan. I highly recommend giving this a try if you need an air purifier!
