These work pretty well. Catching Wi-Fi can be tricky at the ceiling level. It can be spotty in tall ceilings. That being said, I set them up and balanced the light color, then set as a group. My father just uses the wall switch from there. Why I love them so much is because you can balance the color to match other lights in the room.

I've had these bulbs for almost 3 weeks and interchanged them with 2 other brands at times. I use Smart Life (aka Tuya) to control all my smart lights. Early responses to questions said these aren't compatible with Smart Life, maybe they are right, maybe they are wrong. Read on. Smart Life/Tuya will pair with these lights and control them just fine. The control panel in Smart Life is the Feit control panel so Smart Life has built-in the control interface for many different brands including FEIT. However the FEIT control app is not as good as you can schedule time on/off but not on at sunrise or at sunset and other more complex automation tasks that Smart Life can do. As other users mentioned, white is very bright, color mode not so bright but that's fine as I use color mode for holiday accent lighting. Color is still plenty bright in most situations. One of the two units I bought connected fine, the other would not connect no matter what I tried and they were 6 feet apart. Returned the one that wouldn't connect and got a replacement and it connected fine. Bottom line after two weeks of experimentation, if you just occasionally want to manually control these lights or set them on a color and use the regular light switch to turn them on/off, you would probably be one of the other 5-star users that aren't trying to setup sophisticated automation routines. Once connected, the Smart Life / Tuya app works fine with them so you can do smart automation tasks or have the ability to trigger tasks at sunrise or sunset or based on the weather (sunny/overcast). But you with the FEIT app control, you can't do those things, only basic schedule and time on/off, and color/brightness. UPDATE: After two months of use I came home and my Smart Life routines were failing yet all the devices were connected. I ended up having to reset and reconnect all my bulbs (most are not these FEIT bulbs) and add them back to my groups. Here is where it gets strange. With these FEIT bulbs, I went to reset and reconnect but unlike the other bulbs instead of manually deleting the bulb first and say you want to preserve the settings and not delete the bulbs data, a different prompt came up on the FEIT bulb after I disconnected asking if I wanted to delete it. I mistakenly said yes instead of removing it manually like the other bulbs. After I did that, my Smart Life app would always find the FEIT bulb (bulb stops blinking), but it always failed to add it to the network just like the problem I described at the beginning of the review that I couldn't connect one of the two bulbs I first bought. I even plugged the bulb in with 15 feet of my router. I've experimented with different pairing methods, using my wi-fi range extender and other things, including making sure there's no battery restriction on the app on my phone. Once it's "dead" and won't connect to the network, seems there's nothing you can do but replace the bulb! My theory is that the issues are not necessarily with these bulbs but with the Smart Life server. I think the MAC ID is not properly removed from the Smart Life server in some circumstances and it thinks you are trying to add a bulb that is already connected even though the error message is misleading in the wording saying it cannot connect to the WiFi router. That's definitely not the case. I even rebooted my router to clear all the connections just to make sure it wasn't my router. So again bottom line, these bulbs may eventually disconnect and depending on your particular circumstance (what software you use, what router you have, distance from router, how you delete the bulb, etc) you may not be able to re-connect the bulb without replacing it with a new one! Whether it's an issue with the bulb itself or the software I'll never know for sure. I just know starting with a new bulb fixes everything.

Bought other brand previously that no longer works with Alexa Skills and I had to discard them. Feit Electric is a reliable brand and does work with Alexa as well as the Feit App.

UPDATED on 01/22/2026 Dropped my rating from 4 STARS down to 1 START due to the unreliable WiFi connection this product has. WiFi signal strong at the location but consistently dropped out giving inconsistent reliability. It turned out to be a major headache always trying to get it to reconnect and do what it was supposed to do. Probably why it has a high return rate. I replaced this device with a very similar light made by Juno (item number B0BQ1VJLPL) which includes Zigbee connectivity. The Juno replacement seems to connect a lot easier than this product and it offers the same/similar capability described in my old review. OLD REVIEW BELOW from 05/31/2024 For $15 this is a great low cost option to replace an existing obsolete canned light. My original canned light was getting pitted (aluminum painted white) and quite dirty looking and was not worth cleaning up especially in that it uses now obsolete incandescent light bulbs. As you can see I bought this one to replace an outdoor light in the front porch ceiling which is protected from rain and direct sunlight. In the full bright white mode it is quite bright (advertised as 75w equivalent to incandescent). It is dimmable in the app if you find it too bright for your environment. While the white color is very bright I can't say that for the other color options. As pictured you can see that blue (full power) is not anywhere as bright as the white color setting. My guess is it's 1/3 as bright as to make the full color spectrum it uses three RGB LEDs and when blue is turned on the red and green LEDs are off. But, keep in mind, the light is mounted about 12 feet above the ground; if closer it would appear brighter below. As far as using the features of this light you need to pair it to a smart app on your smart device. I read another review where someone complained they didn't want to install the Feit Electric app just for this device as it would be yet one more app on their mobile phone to clutter things up. It turns out that, for me, I did not need to load another app as I already had the SmartLife app loaded which I use for a WiFi flood light in the backyard. My guess is there are other apps in addition to Feit Electric or SmartLife that would pair with this device. So if you already have a lighting control app on your mobile device check to see if you can pair this device before installing more apps that might not be necessary. Lastly, this device works great via voice command using Alexa once you set it up. "Alexa, porch light blue", "Alexa, porch light 50%", "Alexa, turn off porch light".

These are nice as far as color but they have a very long delay turn on with a regular switch. It’s noticeable enough that my wife ends up flicking the light switch 3-4 times as there’s no response. I’m not sure if you have the need to step into your kitchen around 6 for coffee and then spend 5 minutes on the phone to flip the lights on, I imagine you could just easily flip the switch. If of course your lights turn on. The only reason to keep them is if you need the light they give. Overall it’s a really mixed feeling I’m stuck with them because of the light quality and we have very high ceilings, but I absolutely hate the lag. I personally do not recommend these unless you really need their color. If I could find the same color somewhere else I’d run.

Compré 3 focos y 2 focos iluminaban exactamente igual, el otro variaba un poco en los colores, cuando pones rojo 2 se ven iguales y el otro un poco diferente, aún así son muy buenos focos. Iluminan muy bien y fáciles de instalar y configurar!!!
