I'm naturally a dark brown brunette. I bought this to help camoflauge grays (I'll share the results of that later), and figured it would also tone down some redness from experimenting with hair colors. I liked the consistency of the product. It's like a paste. Not messy at all, however, I did use rubber gloves applying it. The fragrance is pleasing, not overpowering. I applied all over but really concentrated on my roots. My goal wasn't total gray coverage, just a tint. I'm tired of dying my roots with permanent dye and having that sharp line of demarcation. Also, I don't have a lot of gray, so I don't want to keep using permanent dye if it's not necessary. I let this stay on for a little longer than 10 mins. The tube stays there's no need for conditioner, but I have curly hair. I NEED conditioner. So I applied my conditioner after rinsing. The results- it did darken my hair and removed some of the redness. It didn't tint my grays as much as I hoped. But it did tone down the stark whiteness and made the line of demarcation less noticeable than before. Maybe with more applications they'll tone down even more. I noticed my hair felt good and looked shiny. I didn't notice much dark color rub off on my towel, so that's a plus. Also, I have low porosity hair, so it's more difficult for my hair to accept color, but this product worked for my hair just as described. The only thing I'm hoping for is a cumulative effect on my grays with more usage. Otherwise, I really like this product and will keep using it and see how it goes.

This is a very nice conditioner. I have brown hair with some gray. This conditioner deposits enough color to my hair that it looks highlighted. I like that it works in only 5 minutes. This is my second tube

This product is a must have for those who want to keep their just - colored hair look between your color applications. It has a very nice smell and conditions your hair while the gold tone enhances your color. And it doesn’t stain your hands while using.

Try this for the first time. While drying my hair, I felt just left my hair very dry and I wasn't liking it much. Then I took a look in the mirror and the color was absolutely fantastic!!! I used to use another brand and it gave me much better conditioning but the color was not as wonderful as this. What I have to say about this is take your choice, color or conditioning. As for me, I'm going to go with the color and add a little conditioner when I have this on. I left this on for 15 minutes instead of the 5 minutes it recommends and I was completely astounded at the beauty of the color. Just make sure to add a little conditioner to the product. Definitely going to buy this again! I took off a star because it was a little dry.

I use this to touch up red streaks in my hair, and it works just okay. It can stain surfaces, so be wary when using it on surfaces that you don't want to get messy. It lasts for a wash or two then fades again. It recommends using every two weeks, but the color will fade quickly unless you don't wash it a lot for those two weeks. It made my hair feel quite dry and almost gummy, so I stopped using it quickly. I don't want to risk damaging it. I've used it maybe three times on my hair and it's been just okay. Don't expect salon-quality when you use this stuff. I would recommend using it if you'd like to freshen it up for a special occasion or something temporary, but it doesn't last that long and it can be a little bit of a hassle. Red hair can be fickle! It's important to have realistic expectations of a product, especially when it's not coming straight from the salon.

I recently got IBE hair extensions. While the quality is lovely, and they look awesome, they immediately out the pack were very ash, and became gray on the ends. My actual hair is true blonde with some warmth, so there was a big difference. My hairdresser sent me home and said purple shampoo on my natural hair would even it out… That’s a whole other story because I feel like spending 4 figures on hair extensions should come with a matching service but I digress… purple didn’t make my hair nearly as ashy as the extensions, but I wanted blonde hair anyway, not ash gray. I was pretty bummed and ordered this on a whim, not expecting much after trying two different purple shampoos that didn’t tone my natural hair down enough.This stuff pleasantly surprised me. I used it for 30 mins on dry hair before getting into a shower and washing my hair like normal. Not at all the directions on the bottle but it worked and warmed up the extensions just enough so that when I used purple shampoo on my natural hair, they now matched perfectly. I don’t know how long this will last, and I used most of a bottle on my 22” extensions, but if it means I feel good about myself then I’ll use a new bottle every week if I have to.The golden blonde color does NOT turn your hair “yellow.” It truly is a soft, slightly warm blonde. Perfect for what I’d been hoping for.

I love it safe and effective color without chemicals . True to its color just remember your hair must be a lighter shade of brown . :) otherwise it will be a dark burgundy .:) Rena

Not sure whats going on with this gloss but use to cover grays pretty good ( my hair is brown but order black because brown will not cover gray) now turns it dirty blonde still showing gray. DISAPPOINTED! Can not recommend, not sure if it's Amazon crap or the company but will try ordering if can from the main company and not from Amazon.
