Kiwi Design Headband Head Strap Compatible with Quest 2

This product is even better than I expected.I love my Quest but there is only one big flaw and that is that it gets very uncomfortable because all the weight is in the front.As soon as I installed the headband to the Quest I noticed that the headband is more supported and I no longer feel any pressure in my cheeks; The headband feels like it give more body to the straps and it may not be, but it looks the same kind of material of the original head strap so it matches perfectly, the Velcros feel super high quality and the middle strap helps to keep the headband where you need it .I'm very happy with this product and I do recommend it.

The reason "Quest 2" is in the product title is because if with enough effort you might get it working for you, but this strap was never designed with the Quest 2 in mind.The balance is a bit different on the Quest 2. For me, this strap wouldn't be able to take much of the load without pulling the stock strap off my head.The instructions provided are for the Quest (1), you'll have to figure it out for yourself how to get the middle strap to work on the Quest 2. Photos are attached of how I have mine set up. Not super complicated to figure out, it's just kind of a pain.Overall, I did find there was SOME increased comfort. The stock strap still has to squeeze my head quite a bit because this strap cannot hold much of the Quest 2 on its own before the front-heaviness pulls the whole strap off. I still find my head feels squeezed after 1-2 hours, but it's an improvement over the stock strap. Getting to that point did take quite a bit of finagling with the straps though, which was kind of annoying without instructions.

I've owned this strap for a good length of time now--so much so that I've worn off the velcro, which is why I gave it a 4 out of 5. I had to glue new velcros on it for it to work.Other than that failing, this is the best headstrap for prolonged use. I use my Quest 2 for work, so I spend my time in VR for about 6 or 7 hours daily (I do take breaks in between). It also served its purpose when I was using my Quest 1, balancing the front-heaviness of it. This strap made the Quest 1 workable for prolonged use as well.So, if you're looking for a comfort mod that is cheap and non-bulky, choose this.

I have the original headstrap that comes with the Oculus and decided to try this. I position it so it goes from ear to ear. Since I am not using the strap they show in the directions there is an extra attachment that just isn't used. Adding this has enabled me to still be comfortable after wearing Oculus for an hour where before the strap I would start to get a headache and not feel well after about 30 minutes. Definitely worth the money.

Didnt improve comfortness

Before purchasing this I wasted time and tried 11oz counterweight on back of unit which only helped a tiny bit. My WAF (wife approval factor) was very low, so I decided to buy this. Installing was a bit weird until I realized there is 4 velcro straps and not 3, the 4th is the middle piece, and it only opens from one side. As soon as I got unit on - wow, incredibly comfortable! The material feels like OEM Stock, as if it came with the Oculus Quest. Great job guys! Wife is now going to steal this from me even more to play her escape games ;) I will recommend this to everyone.

These work well enough as a Band Aid for how terrible the cloth strap is on the Quest 2. But I wouldn't waste money on it. If you can swing it, just get the Elite Strap. It's just a night-and-day difference in comfort if you want to play more more than 45 minutes at a time.

Easy way to distribute the weight more evenly across the top of the head and relieve pressure. I’m using a knock-off Elite strap on my Quest 2, and I no longer have to tighten it like a vice to keep the headset positioned correctly. I can now play for longer without a piercing headache afterwards. Good value for a couple of bucks!

I always felt the Quest is top heavy so this headband actually alleviates the weight and pressure from the headset. Why put something in the back of ur head for counter balance, this product does its job and its better. Putting on the headband on the unit is pretty easy as the package comes with instruction. The material is made from the same stuff from the KIWI knuckle strap so it's easy to wipe if you sweat on it. Overall I'm very happy at the product quality from KIWI

Da die Oculus Quest, leider sehr frontlastig ist, muss man hier etwas modifizieren. Hierbei hilft das Band sehr, da es das Gewicht nach hinten verlagert. Mit den neuem KIWI Akkupack, wird es dann perfekt und die Brille wird sehr bequem. Im Zusammenspiel mit dem "KIWI design Powerbank für Oculus Quest VR Headset" ist das Band perfekt geeignet um den maximal Komfort zu ermöglichen.

Creo que es caro para lo que es pero es de buena calidad. Lo utilizamos para que a un niño que lo utiliza de manera esporádica le quede más sujeto y lo hemos acabado utilizando todos. Lleva un velcro que facilita el ajuste. Ojala el fabricante lo llevara de serie.

Ritengo la fascia Kiwi un accessorio fondamentale per stabilizzare la pressione facciale a cui siamo sottoposti dato lo sbilanciamento anteriore del peso del Quest. Personalmente l'ho confrontata con un'altra fascia cinese da poco prezzo ma non c'è paragone come qualità. Unita poi a un cuscinetto posteriore VR cover secondo me è la soluzione migliore dopo halo/das mod e similari.
