I recommend pouring hot melted ingredients into mold
I am a first time buyer of glycerin soap for making soap. It arrived yesterday and I instantly tried making my own soap. After reading the reviews, I was concerned if it would be clear or cloudy. My first batch was both clear and cloudy. Yes, I noticed the one clear soap, others were cloudy because I came back to the mold and poured a little extra to fill the mold. When I directly poured the melted glycerin soap with color added and scent added, liquid was still hot - resulted in clear soap. You can see in the picture, one soap was half clear and half cloudy. I recommend pouring hot melted ingredients into mold. So - today, one day later, I remelted the soap I made yesterday. I poured it directly from microwave to the mold. Results - clear soap.

Super easy & fun
This is really easy to use. Just cut it up. melt in microwave, add color, scented oils and pour in molds. I recently started making soap. I didn't want to get into the whole "Lye" thing:) This makes it so much easier to do. I am having a lot of fun experimenting.

Easy!
My daughter is now obsessed with “making soap.” Super easy to use. Dries in about 2 hours or so, uses less fragrance that the goats milk- and smells wonderful. We will definitely get more!!!

Easy to use!
This was so simple to use! I just cut into cubes and put into my glass measuring cup. Microwaved until melted, added essential oils and dye and BOOM! That easy!!! The soap only takes about 10-15 minutes to set in the fridge!

Does not work as a melt and pour “soap”, not soap like at all.
This came in a solid large 2 lb block with no scored small block marks for cutting. After melting and adding a small amount of soap color and fragrance we poured it into the molds, waited until set and then removed for use. This did NOT bubble at all, it had a film on it that had to be roughed up with a scrubber brush for EACH use. Not a useful soap at all. I would not recommend it, nor can I even use the “soaps” I made as it does not bubble or clean at all. Very, very disappointed.

Best clear soap!
This soap is amazingly clear, and melts in about 15 seconds, a stir, and an additional 10 seconds. I love it for making hand soaps, and it creates a good suds and leaves your hands feeling very clean. I’ve had no problems with this soap not being clear, and it maintained its clearness even after adding essential oils and water-based soap dyes. Have already purchased this twice!

In previous purchases I was very happy with it
I have been ordering this soap base for soap making for several months. In previous purchases I was very happy with it. It was packaged as pictured and I liked that it was thin enough for my kids to cut and was separated into squares so they could easily determine how much they should use. I ordered more the other day and it arrived promptly today but the package looks nothing like it used to. It's just a big chunk wrapped in Saran Wrap (I attached a picture of what I received). My kids haven't tried cutting into it yet and I don't think I will let them as it's much thicker and much harder to cut through. While I am able to cut this to melt for soaps, they really enjoyed making their own soaps and I'm disappointed the packaging has changed.

Super happy with this purchase!
I'm a newbie when it comes to DIYing my own soap; this is just the 2nd batch I've made. I used goat's milk soap base the first time around and the odor was a little overwhelming so I wanted to try another soap base. I liked the idea of clear soap so I bought this one because of its good reviews and lower prices than similar products. I LOVE this soap base!! It didn't have an odor like the goat's milk and I really like the clear glycerine. It soaps up well with bubbles, gives a good clean, and I even added some oats to my soap bars to add an exfoliating effect! I make soap for my husband and I and I add different essential oils for each of our bars. I will definitely purchase this again and again and again! Super happy with this purchase!
