In a quiet room these are deafening
In a quiet room these are deafeningThey make more noise and have less air flow than any fan I have ever used.I have a large 120mm fan on my router to keep it cool, but it partially blocks the antennas. I wanted a smaller fan so the antennas wouldn't be blocks. These are the perfect size and the air flow using two fans is low but acceptable, however the noise using just one fan is terrible.Room noise with router and current 120mm fan is 22.7 dB, replacing the 120mm fan with ONE of these is 46.3 dB, the noise 2 inches from the one of these fans is 64.2 dB.Moving air makes noise but these fans have a loud whirring noise.

I bought the 40x40x10. Airflow level is pretty low vs the overall noise level. 15mm could be better
I still feel the twin 40x40x10mm mod airflow capacity I bought from Wathai is not bad for the configuration I had in mind. But the noise level is probably even more unstable than the 40x40x20 I bought from them a year ago? I'd recommend a potential 40x40x15mm modular upgrade, perhaps to overcome some of the noise level instability vibrations, as well as possibly give a few more cubic feet of air flow per minute.

Cooling needed!
I was using a 12v 40mm fan atop my voltage regulator (see pic). It did okay, but noisy. I bought this 60mm USB powered one...much better fit, airflow about the same. Very little noise. Voltage regulator is running cool to the touch. I was surprised that this two-pack came with two chrome grills. Wasn't expecting that. Consider using a small tie-strap (zip strip) to secure the flimsy wire to the casing or grill...if moved, it will likely break off. I did that, no issues.

Hot glued to back of surface pro.
Hot glued one to the back of my surface pro 3. Cool as a cucumber now.

Low noise, good throughput
These move a decent ammount of air, and are almost inaudible. I have been running these as a vr headset cooler and have been impressed with the results, dm me if you want the 3d print files.

A great little fan for smallish enclosure cooling/air flow projects.
This was the 3rd small fan I bought off amazon because the other 2 didn't meet my needs (too much or too little airflow and/or too noisy). This one is perfect for smallish enclosure projects. I would say something about 30 inches square with about 6 inches to 1 foot height. Runs smooth and not loud.

Got for a Vive Wireless Attachment
Works great for cooling down electronics that do not have fans. The 60x60x10mm's vibrate a TON. I wouldn't care but they are strapped to my skull on my Vive pro to cool the wifi adapter. Still great fans but idk if I will use them!
