Great quality very sturdy ! Love this brush I use it on my horses hooves around the frog area cleaning every night when I pick them out. Much better than using a wire brush. Beautifully made extremely sturdy. Don’t hesitate to buy this one at first I thought it was a little pricey but when I received it I see exactly why the price tag is where it’s at. Quality quality quality:-)

just what I was looking for to brush hooves

Brush worked as intended too. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that a large chunk of the bristles have came off. Could be because of use but overall good product

I recently overheard a hiker talking about how they kept a hoof brush in the trunk of their car so that they could clean mud off their hiking boots after a hike. I didn't know what a hoof brush looked like, but it sounded like a good idea so I searched Amazon for one. I liked the sturdy look of this brush and purchased it for that and the fact that it was made of wood and not more cheap plastic. The brush has not disappointed, I only wish I had purchased one sooner. My hubs liked it so well that he asked me to order him one as well.

This is a perfect brush for cleaning hooves.I have been unsatisfied with the hoof picks that have a little bristle brush on the end. The brush is too small to do much good and gets bent soon, and the hoof picks tend to bend.So I prefer to use an old fashioned hoof pick with a separate brush. This is the best one I've found. I use the wide wooden edge to scrape off any mud that won't brush off, and then the brush itself is really good at getting into the hoof well. It is excellent quality, and so far has been holding up well under vigorous use. I also really like it when I'm trimming hooves.The only things that I wish were different are:1) I wish this was sold as Prime. It took a really long time to get here.2) I wish there was a plastic scraper along that wooden edge to help get dried mud off3) I wish they offered this as a set with a larger and smaller size to get into the crannies.Overall, this is an excellent brush at a fair price. It's immediately become irreplaceable in my caddy, so I'd better order another one for when it needs to be replaced.

Handy brush for cleaning excess debris from goat hooves and hoof pick while trimming hooves

The brush bristles are great. Firm enough to really get the job done. And I love the short stout handle, easy to manipulate and get a good grip on it. I am subtracting one star however because there are very sharp nail head protruding out of the back of the brush, actually splintering the wood. I will probably try covering them with a couple of layers of duct tape. They are sharp enough to make a nasty cut if someone (human or equine) or something (gloves or clothing) rubbed across it.
