i remember when i first saw these episodes on cartoon network. they had just finished the cell saga, and then the first episode on this disk came on. goku was dead and was meeting all the dead warriors, and grand kia tells pihkan to take care of Cell, Frieza, King Cold, and the Ginyu Force cause they are causing a disturbance in Hell. so goku tags along because he thinks pihkan would need his help, but then it turns out that pihkan was incredibly strong and didnt need gokus help. cause pihkan deafeated Cell with a single kick, and frieza with a single punch. these episodes are incredible, and i would reccomend them. and for the record i think its very good filler.

Goku takes charge but Pikkon has some surprises of his own. Soon after Goku meets some of the other legendary fighters on the planet and learns it would take him 10,000 years to get training lessons from the Grand Kai. It's been 300 years since the Four Kai's have been together and in Celebration of North Kai's(King Kai) Death West Kai suggests an other world tournament the Grand Kai even offers up a special prize for the winner. In protest to Goku's qualifications to fight in the tournament South Kai challenges goku to a race. The Tournament Begins and watching these fighters is more like going to the circus but power can't be measured in looks. Each Kai has a set of Fighters from there quadrant. All strong in there on right along with a couple of Corn balls not unlike Hercule. There are 8 Fighters left an it's time for round 2. (SQ) Torbie & Froug. (EQ) Arqua. (NQ) Goku & Olibu. (WQ) Maraikoh, Tapkar & Pikkon. who will advance to the Finals. Goku fights his way through and makes it to the finals. Goku waits in the wing as the 2 favorites Olibu & Pikkon battle it out for the last spot. Who will face Goku in the Finals? The Match is set but You'll have to buy the next dVd to see this one!MY THOUGHTSI was pleased with this DVD mainly because I lost my cable & internet in 2000 and never got to see these episodes it wouldn't even be to june 2004 that i would start collecting the dvd's. Then it wouldn't be 'till september 2004 i got the internet back to learn there were tens of episodes after the cell games. Opening ceremony first episodes is quite entertaing .As the episodes progress though it becomes a little dry.The last two episodes of the dvd are action packed but something is missing.Its worth purchasing to see the first episode though or if you like the senseless fighting of dbz.
