Amazing quality! These Mercedes key fob remote covers look like OEM equipment!
I own two Mercedes GL550's. They both have the keyless go option and use these fobs.I've had to purchase a replacement remote for one of them. If you have a Mercedes, you probably know that you can only get a key at the dealer if you want your Keyless Go function to work. You have to provide the dealer with your VIN number so they can program the remote correctly. Then they have to order it, etc. They cost about $500.00.Last week I dropped my keys in the parking lot at work. The keys hit the ground so hard that the fob separated from the keys, as the little metal key detached from the key fob itself. I was worried that I would either break or lose one of my remotes, so I started researching covers for these remotes.I initially bought a hard shell case type of remote cover. When I got it I was disappointed because it looked cheap and it felt cheap. It was not durable. Not at all. It would come off if the keys were dropped. Not good. I kept looking. Then I found these covers. These key fob covers are excellent! They fit good. They look good. They are just soft enough to provide protection from impacts yet they look like they were made by Mercedes. They look that good. Like OEM.I bought two covers in Blue for my wife and two in silver for myself. The covers fit snug. It's easiest to install them if they are warm. I installed one while working in my garage. I then came inside and installed the other three. I replaced all of the CR2025 button cell batteries in all four of my remotes before I installed these covers. One of my cars was not recognizing one of the remotes, so it was time for new batteries.Other than the fact that they look great, feel great, and offer excellent protection, I think that my favorite feature is that once these covers are installed, the fob cannot separate from the metal key inside. You will have to remove this cover if you want to access the metal back up key. This makes me happy that I won't lose a fob somewhere. It can happen, but now it won't.As you can see, I am very happy with this purchase. I really cannot believe how nice these are and how little that they cost.My pics really don't do these justice. What they do show is $2000.00 of Mercedes remote key fobs that are well protected and look like OEM equipment. Beautiful!

Good, well priced product
I was worried this might be a cheap flimsy product, but it is good quality and looks so far.For example, I made a hole in the corner of the floppy silicon to attach it to my overstuffed keychain that gets ha does roughly in my tight overstuffed pockets. The hole shows no sign of ripping.(You probably won’t need to create a hole in yours like I did, as your key probably has a sturdy metal hole already. The point is, it’s nice and sturdy.)The finish on the silicon really looks like chrome — like the real chrome that is on the original key. It’s lasted a bunch of months so far, we’ll see.And it was one of the best priced ones I found on Amazon too.I bought this cover hoping it would stop the “open trunk” button from accidentally being triggered on my keychain. It does seem to have helped, but it does still happen. This way oversensitive Mercedes trunk button would fire when the key fob was in my pocket, and even when it was clipped to my jeans belt look. I think that’s a huge flaw, no other car I’ve had does this.Worse, these Mercedes have another terrible flaw. If the trunk pops open while it’s raining, even a little water getting in the bottom of your trunk will destroy the computer system that is stupidly on the floor of your trunk. This will make your car unable to start, and will cost at least $1,000 US to fix.Big Mercedes flaw. Why put sensitive electronics critical to the car’s functioning in the trunk, without water protection, and in a place where it can get wet from rain? This isn’t a flaw with this key cover... in fact it’s a problem that the key cover helps fix somewhat. In the end I still find that I need to remove my keys from my pocket or belt loop as much as possible. Which then means I may forget my keys and have to go back to get them. Ugh.Also, the top of the Mercedes key fob is held in my a relatively flimsy plastic clip and tiny spring. These can easily get broken when you more changing the battery in the key. When this happens, there’s no hole for you to attach the key fob to a keychain. You either have to buy a new fob or get a key fob cover strong enough to attach to a key chain.

Nice but a little hard.
This is a nice cover for the factory fob. It's shiny and looks good.Easy to install. The drawback is you have to press much harder to lock/unlock the doors. It can be an inconvenience... I think is annoying but the boss says it's OK...

Attractive but Unusable
The item is very attractive and appears very durable, however it is made out of such a thick material that you are unable to use the key. In order to depress a button you have to squeeze it so hard that I am worried that I may damage to key. The thickness of material makes the cover very stiff, which in turn makes it extremely difficult to install. Also the reason I gave it a one star for durability is that if the item is unusable the durability is irrelevant.

Good quality
Have had this in my key for almost a year, still has a pink color to it. Taking a lot of beatings and tossing around. Kind of a pain to get on and off but it's still nice.

Looks great but buttons are tough
My key had cracks on the buttons, so I needed something to cover them up. This case looks amazing. The only downside is that the buttons are tough to press now. Not surprising given I've covered them with a hard plastic shell though.
