What can I say that hasn’t already been said. So many players use these so many players have and so many players get to be born will use these. I believe these were some of the first I used over 40 years ago. I moved away for a long time and didn’t imagine I would be back but I am and can’t imagine not having them as part of my choice of strings these days.

I have always liked Ernie Ball strings. I have been using them for many years and they always deliver. This specific set met my expectations. For a heavier rock/metal sound, these are great. I highly recommend.

Tried and true, you can't go wrong with Slinkys, the industry standard for a traditional, non-coated string. It's not a coincidence they're played by all the best guitarists in the world. The sound and feel are great and always consistent. I recommend buying from Amazon or a reputable seller. These came from a non-music related third party seller and the shipping time was very long. But nonetheless the product itself is 5 stars.

A quick knock on the packaging. It's awful. Each pack is not air tight as the previous bulk packs I've purchased have been. If you don't go through these very fast and a pack or two may find themselves sitting on a shelf for a while I'd stay away from this option. The strings themselves can't be given enough stars. They are affordable, can take a beating, and stay bright sounding for longer than others I've periodically tried. I picked up a guitar in middle school and played around with other brands into my early 20s but always came back to these. I don't even bother anymore and just try to buy these in bulk so I have a large stash always on hand. I use powers on the ESPs, Gibsons, and semi hollow bodies. I use regulars on my Floyd Rose set ups, and Super Slinkys on the Strats. I definitely won't be changing strings anytime soon but will be more aware on my next order to make sure I'm getting the bulk pack where each pack is air tight sealed.
