This is a nice looking bed with great storage capacity, and feels solid once put together. The light grey is more of a beige, but this suits our room decor so was fine. Arrived ahead of the estimated delivery (and actually said it was undelivered for weeks after it had arrived).However, assembling this was no easy feat. The instructions are basically useless, other than giving you a vague sense of the order to do things in. The plastic corner pieces broke while we were trying to put it together (as we had to take the frame apart due to the trial and error method adopted in lieu of instructions), and we had to wait for replacement parts... this meant being without a bed frame for nearly a week. The seller did respond quickly, but still an annoyance. Somehow we also ended up with bolts that were too short at the end, and had to purchase extra ones to finish the job. Watch as many YouTube videos as you can ahead of time, and I'd suggest looking at all of the instructions and pieces at once and making your best deductions about what will need to go where in three steps time to avoid having to take it apart and put it back together. Also I'd put the feet on first, and ignore the weird black velcro 'base' altogether.

Beware it comes in 2 packages which don’t necessarily come on the same day as one is much heavier than the other and the random delivery driver didn’t have a clue but the sellers communication was good and reassuring.It all came within a few days as stated NOT WEEKS so don’t panic like I did!For the price this bed is great! Very sturdy and looks lovely. I sent pictures to friends who didn’t believe it was less than £200!It’s a little heavy to lift but that may also be due to our thick heavy mattress. I plan to add an additional strap which should help distribute the weight when lifting.Take your time putting it up and check you have everything as my husband rushed and thought we were missing a foot! Long story short it’s now sitting flat on the floor rather than on the feet but I preferred this as I don’t like dust & spiders and things hiding under beds!!!

This bed is fantastic for the price. Arrived quickly, easy to follow instructions. There were a couple of minor parts missing (just to attach a couple of slats to the frame) which were sent out immediately and they offered a small refund for the inconvenience. The ottoman feature is great. The only thing I would say is that some of the stitching isn’t 100% straight on the headboard we got but for the price it’s a very small price to pay for an otherwise great bed frame.

The first half of the bed arrived and the second half remained with Hermes for a week until the company sent another half on the last due date and it arrived in 24hours! So technically my parcel didn’t arrive late. The first half had arrived a week early with XDP. Seller was really helpful and apologetic.I assembled the bed alone without my boyfriend and had no troubles at all - VERY easy to assemble but still secure and good quality (may need to get him to tighten the bolts though) The instructions are clear apart from which screws are which but I am not familiar with sizes of those etc otherwise may have been simpler however it didn’t cause any issue as I guessed correctly.TIP - attach the feet of the bed to the headboard and footboard FIRST otherwise you have to lift the whole bed and get under to fit them. The instructions won’t mention the feet until the very last page and it’s just pictures no description.Overall very great purchase and customer service fab, only deducted a star for delivery but that is not the fault of company but still apart of experienceDefinitely recommend :)

UPDATE: I was sent another new head board and managed to assemble the bed without problems. Also partially refunded amount of £10. Good communication maintained by the seller.On assembly of the bed I found a defect whilst screwing the side board to the head board. One screw hole where the screw M8*30 should be fitted is actually located inaccurately in a way that it is covered by the brass plate fixed to the side board thus I am unable to place this one screw to firmly fix the side board to the head board.The heights of the screw holes in the head board are unequal.

The items has come dirty and green stain on head board .cant use it

Great bargin bed (I bought the super king), arrived surprising fast as it wasn't fulfilled by amazon. All pieces and fasteners were present. Been 6 months hasn't fallen apart yet. Instrutions provided but assembly would be straight forward even without them.

Likes:Easy to construct.Comfortable to lie on.Modern appearance.Dislikes:Frame twists a fair amount when accessing storage space. Tried to beef up fixings to no avail.Does not affect functionality.
