Yummy Zero Carb Snack
I really didn't know what to expect when first ordering these tasty little pearls and now I'm wondering how I went so long without them. Just like when I first experienced Haloumi Cheese or a Lake Erie Perch sandwich, the Brami Lupini Beans just seem right. For the uninitiated, the beans are like escapees from an antipasta tray determined to find their own place in the pantry. They are somewhat similar to Edamame, only pickled and seasoned just so, with a delightful little snap as you bite into the flesh. Unlike pickles, the beans are packed with just enough brine to maintain moistness, not drown. When ripping open the pouch, you're not going to get a wet lap. The portion of beans is just right, not too much and not too little. A very satisfying amount of snack for an afternoon hunger pang. Typically when ordering a variety pack, I expect a clinker or two. Nothing is perfect. However I found all three to be delightful and quite distinct from each other. It would be fair to acknowledge that these are not for everyone but if you're looking for a delicious snack that won't break your carb budget, you should give these a try. Like me, you might get hooked.

Delicious, healthy and convenient
Lupini beans have a solid hit of protein and are very low on the GI. This brand is in a nice sized bag that's convenient for carrying, is great for a snack on the go with ingredients that don't bog you down, and they taste delicious. Any fan of vinegary/pickled foods will likely enjoy these.

Great snack
These are the perfect afternoon snack. I came across these originally at Costco in a smaller pack size. I was attracted to them because of the ZERO net carbs. I have hypothyroidism and try my best to eat as little carbs as possible because of my weak thyroid. I was pleasantly surprised by the great taste. Because I don’t frequent Costco too often and they don’t always have the same items in stock I decided to search Amazon and found more flavor varieties and twice the size of the individual pouches at Costco. Though these are a little more expensive than I would like to spend I sacrifice the price for what I get in the product. It is hard to find low carb snacks especially ones that are so conveniently handy.

A tasty, salty, snack
Amazon finally got me with one of its at-the-shopping-cart recommendations. These sounded interesting enough to be worth trying, I like salty things, pickled things, beans, high-protein snacks and so forth, and I hadn't tried these before, so they seemed to be worth a try. Maybe fit a similar niche to olives in my diet. I'd say they are pretty good, but nothing to write home about. The three flavors are distinct; I wasn't a massive fan of the Chili and Lime, and the Garlic & Rosemary wasn't a strong as I would have liked, but they were all satisfactory. Texture was sold, nice little bit to them but nothing excessive. I could see myself buying a jar of these now and again. A decent late-night snack which is milder than pickles or olives tend to be, but decently filling. I'd probably need twice the amount of beans in each package as they put in them, maybe rounding out to an even 100 on the calories would do some good. They are presently over-priced for what you get, I payed ~$24 for a pack of eight. They are worth half that, maybe. These are a four-star item at $16 for the eight-pack. Household-wise, opinions were less favorable. The flavors are a bit strong, and you have to like the pickling flavor. If you like that sort of thing, I'd recommend you try them, get the variety pack, and don't pay more than $20 for it. If you don't like that sort of thing, then I'd give it a miss.

Unique, healthy protein snack
It's a cross between hummus in taste and boiled peanuts in texture. Definitely an acquired kind of taste, but an easy Mediterranean diet friendly snack to travel with. High protein and fiber, low carb, non-GMO 80 calories per pack. Seven ingredients, all pronounceable so no chemicals. I will try all the flavors. Edit-- I bought dried lupini beans and made them at home. Didn't know it's a cooking project, like kombucha. It takes multiple days of salt brine marinade in order to release the naturally occurring bitter chemical before they are edible. I learned a lot and it turned out well, but the price on this product isn't so bad based on labor alone.

Perfect snack or quick meal
I received a Garlic and Rosemary pack in a gift box and immediately got on the web to figure out where I could buy more. My local Sprouts is supposed to carry both these beans and the hummus but I couldn't find them in-store so off to Amazon I went. I decided to try all three flavors expecting to be obsessed with the Salt and Vinegar flavor as that was the type of chips I liked as a teenager. Surprisingly, this flavor was just good, not great. The Garlic and Rosemary remains my favorite with Chili and Lime coming in a close second. These are seriously delicious and the macros!!!! Talk about major guilt-free snacking! I'll also pair a pouch with a source of fat for a quick lunch when I'm in a rush. I think my next purchase will be of the much larger bags to save on packaging waste but I'm kind of scared I won't be able to stop eating them.

Tasty, Easy to Eat!
These lupini beans are just the thing for people who are on the go and have to remain gluten free. When I travel, I always carry these with me for a gluten free breakfast, because I never find safe breakfast items amongst the free Continental breakfast items (pastries) at the hotel, even at the good hotels! I always carry a package in my purse, for an emergency snack when I'm traveling, or at work. For me, these lupini beans, packaged as they are in individual servings, are 'just what I need!'. I've ordered these several times, and I've never been disappointed in the taste or quality. They DO taste good also! I've tried all the varieties, the vinegar and sea salt are my favorite! When I first started eating them, I did not eat the 'shell', but I soon learned that the shell is good eats too, so now I eat the whole thing! An added bonus is that, although as a diabetic i have to watch my carbs, they do not raise my blood sugar at all! So YUM!

Savory, marinated snack packs for one
My husband is from Portugal, and these are also a very popular snack there as well. Since moving to the US, we haven’t been able to find these beans anywhere, so this was a special treat! These are tart, savory, pickled beans (not dry). I prefer to eat them in the skin, but my husband prefers to pop them out of their fibrous shell. I liked all three of the flavors we got (sea salt and vinegar, chili lime and galore and rosemary) but my personal favorite was the garlic and rosemary. My only complaint is that they are a little pricey at approximately $2 per package, and a package is one serving. Comparatively, a similar quantity in Portugal would cost about $1.25 per package. We haven’t ever eaten these in salads or other dishes, but I imagine they’d make a fantastic addition to other recipes. Thank you for the delicious memory, Brami!
