Bearitos Cheddar Crunchitos, 6 Ounce (Pack of 12)

This product is good, but tastes rather bland. I reviewed the label and compared it to other brands. Here are some alternative:- Orville Redenbacher's "Light Natural" has fewer calories, the same amount of fat, better flavoring (palm oil), larger bags (3.3 vs 2.8 oz), and costs approximately half as much since Redenbacher frequently goes on sale. The only drawback is more sodium, but IMHO the "light natural" variety is still a more attractive choice.- Healthy Choice Popcorn is another alternative with many of the same benefits (and drawbacks) listed above, although I don't think it tastes as good as Redenbacher's "Light Natural" brand.I won't be buying anymore of Bearito's, not because there's anything wrong with it, but just because there are better-tasting options that are just as healthy. :-)

I appreciate the idea of having a healthy organic snack to offer my family, but clearly this is not the mouthwatering, melt-in-your-mouth kind of popcorn that one would expect. This stuff is so bad (tough and hard to chew!); nobody in my family will eat it. I tried eating some, and with every mouthful I was spitting hulls in the trash. I discarded more than I swallowed. I would recommend that this popcorn be taken off the market, as it is not fit for human consumption. It seems more like the type that should be fed to farm animals or maybe used for Christmas tree decorations. I often buy organic products and have found that, many times, the taste and quality is not as good as it should be. I would not recommend this product.

These taste great, no problems at all with staleness. I have always enjoyed cheese puffs etc and these are a much better, organic alternative. No not the most healthy food in the world, but a bit of an indulgence and a safer way to indulge rather than the typical junk food. Every now and then you want to stray a bit and not kill yourself with preservatives and msg. Great taste and great crunch.Later review: After eating these, I noticed that I didn't want to stop. I put on my reading glasses and reread the ingredients: this product contains Autolyzed Yeast Extract in it. I am disappointed. This is another chemical similar to MSG. If I had realized this I would have not made the purchase. I was thrilled that it had Organic Corn Meal in it.I would love for this company to take the Autolyzed Yeast Extract out of this product.

I like popcorn periodically, and it is next to impossible to find the one without salt and butterThis one actually bland, and that is the way I prefer. People who like it salty could add whatever they want and actually know what is in the popcorn, vs the one you are getting in the theater or the grocery store.

No salt, no butter, no taste, but it is organic and its supposed to be safer. It is safe and dull, but I would buy it again just for the peace of mind.It seems to be the cleanest tasting... is it truly organic. I think so

Trying to cut down on salt and fat, I got some for the family for Christmas. I loved it so much I got myself a case later. I love adding a spritz of good olive oil and hitting it with a bit of truffle salt, or a spritz of spray butter, Fusion lime fresco sea salt and drops of sriracha or go sweet with a spritz of spray butter and Truvia or a tiny sprinkle of brown sugar - YUM!With the fresh, plain corn flavor of the popcorn you have a blank canvas - no oil, no salt, so it is all you!

The first box/12 pack i ordered seemed not as crisp as what i had purchased in a store. But the next box was clearly uncrunchey, stale, soggy tasting. I see 2003 mentioned on the packages. Although i very much like the product normally, i'd be afraid to order it from Amazon again, as there are no returns on foods. I couldn't find an Amazon address for complaints, which is why i'm doing the review. The product obviously sat too long in someones warehouse.Amazon quickly replaced my order with a box of fresh crunchy crunchitos. Very good. I'll probably order again.

i received way too many. i don't know what to do with all of them. i cannot eat possibly eat that my boxes of popcorn!
