Grano Milano Ristretto Decaf 50 Compatible with Nespresso Original Line

Really pleased with these pods. They are excellent, really full of flavour, not all all weak like low priced decaffs often are. As our regular pods we always have Amazons own brand, Solimo but they don’t do a decaf. I’m pleased to say that these are just as good as a decaffeinated alternative. Though they are plastic they work well in our machine which was a bit of a worry as we have a new magimix nespresso but they are absolutely fine. I've used others in the past that have been nowhere near as gòod as these. I’m pleased to have found such a great tasting, good value decaffeinated coffee pod.

The flavour is very rich and tastes great on its own or mixed with my other caffeinated pods as a way of reducing my caffeine intake after 11am. The pods themselves have a bit of an odd shape in that they don’t quite sit right in my machine like other brands do. It means I have to pull the lever extra hard to get the machine to start. (I have a Sage Nespresso Creative, the silver one. Can’t quite remember the full name). Anyway definitely will buy again as I love the taste and I’m sleeping much better with reduced caffeine.

I like this coffee. Given I drink decaf the coffee needs to make up for the lack of caffeine by having a good flavour. The capsules also have to work with my machine. I drink this coffee with milk which gets zapped in the microwave first, if I’m drinking a small ‘typical’ coffee cup I use one capsule on top of the milk, if I’m having my ‘coffee bucket’ then I use 2 caps. The coffee - as it comes from my machine- has a good crema, there’s a good colour and excellent aroma and for the price, the taste is very agreeable. There’s a lot of choice out there now, but for me, with the machine I have (an important component in the overall equation) I am very happy.

I found the flavour to be ok but in my Pixie machine the flow of coffee was very slow, so whereas I would normally use 2 starbucks capsules I would need to use 3 of these - thus not quite the initial bargain you think it is. Also these are plastic and they seem to leave a lot of water in the drip tray - to the extent that it needs emptying often. Value for money though they are good

This is the first time I've used plastic coffee pods in my Nespresso machine. It may be that the machine operates at a high pressure of 19 bar that causes the coffee to have such a strong chemical taste. I was unable to drink the coffee because of the taste and concern about the chemical. I have used Nespresso compatible ALUMINIUM pods and found them to be very good. I would advise anyone to choose another product rather than this one. Note it is very rare for me to give negative reviews. I also tried removing the coffee from the pod and using it in my expresso machine. The chemical taste was gone but the coffee taste was not particularly good.

I wasn't sure what to expect trying these pods out for the first time but what a pleasant surprise! It is easy to spend a fortune a Nespresso pods especially if you really like coffee. I've been trialling different pods recently to find good decaf coffee for our machine. I've really been enjoying these pods - a great flavour and plenty strong enough for my taste. Put it simply - I recently bought some Starbucks pods and they were really poor. These pods are far superior. I will definitely be buying more when we need them

Great coffee but water comes out everywhere over the pod. My cup is not wide enough to catch the foundation.

I spent quite a while reading reviews of different brands online and making an assessment of price to quality, and eventually decided to give Grano Milano a go because of the other feedback I'd seen on their coffee. I was not disappointed. Visually, I love the look of this brand, and in terms of practicality they work perfectly in my Nespresso machine and pierce well. The taste is the most important thing though, and for a decaf coffee these are exactly what I was looking for - well balanced, not bitter and a deliciously warming aftertaste. I will definitely be trying their other flavours and caffeinated versions too.

I like the brand Grand Milano, and prefer the their roast to other Italian roasts. I especially like the the Crema. Forced to drink decaf for health reasons, the Grand Milano decaf is exceptional. The flavored is distinctly Italian. I was impressed with the first cup of decaf from Grand Milano and find it comparable to the more expensive Illy. The only complaint are the plastic capsules sometimes will not cooperate with my classic Nespresso Le Cube, and will collapse instead of brewing. See photo.

Absolutely love these. Have tried several brands of decaf and these are by far the most flavourful/best-I drank 4 back to back (to back, to back :) in the first hour after opening them. At $30 (for 50 capsules), the price is also the best I've found. These are the only decaf capsules I'll be buying moving forward.... And the next time I need to stock up on regular coffee, I'll be trying out the Milano regular was well. Highly recommend!

Very tasy coffee for a decafeine one. However there is another alternative that is cheaper for just a lil bit less taste. The price can go down to 66 jpy/pod but need to buy the 180 pods package. At 66 jpy/pod, it'll be worth it.

Burnt taste and somewhat sour. Smaller than regular Nespresso pods and the machine doesn’t love them. I wish I could return them.

This is terrible coffee. It tastes like mold. Does not fit in Nespresso original line as advertised. The strength is not bad but I could not get past the terrible mold flavor. Don't waste your money.
