I am not disappointed and in spite of having a narrow foot and having had foot surgery they are, hands down, the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I recently went on a river cruise to Europe and wore these on excursions every day even though I had taken other shoes I found these to be much more comfortable. Since then I’ve worn them on hikes on various terrain without any issues. I also wear them daily for walking my dogs. If they get wet they dry relatively quickly. I’m so happy that I’ve found these shoes and have since ordered 3 more. All in all they make my feet happier! Also, I want to mention that they are true to size. I wear an 8.5 and that’s what I ordered. Review: A light weight and versatile shoe that is comfortable and affordable. - I was advised to get this type of shoe due to my constant tripping and falling and being over 70 years old! I was hesitate at first, but the affordable price caught my interest. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they were. They can be used as inside shoes or outside shoes. They are so lightweight they are like slippers, but outside they are good on gravel, concrete or your yard. Have ordered a second pair for inside use only. We have a farm, and it's important to be cautious about bringing farm yard into the home. ## Features - Wide Toe Box Design: Anatomically designed with an expanded toe box that lets your toes splay naturally and grip the ground. This effectively increases toe room and relieves accumulated forefoot pressure - Zero-Drop Sole: Engineered with a 0mm heel-to-toe offset, this sole structure guides your body back to a natural midfoot or forefoot strike - Arch Support System: Equipped with a removable insole that gently follows the arch curve, providing essential support without harsh pressure on the sole - Slip-Resistant Outsole: The all-terrain lug outsole significantly enhances traction on challenging surfaces like mud, gravel, tree roots, and wet rocks. Whether on rugged trails or slick city streets, it keeps you steady and sure-footed - All-Scenario Versatility: Purpose-built for both indoor and outdoor training, these shoes handle gym strength workouts, yoga, Pilates, as well as hiking, cycling, jogging, and daily commuting ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07V27Q7HS | | Best Sellers Rank | #51,833 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #27 in Women's Trail Running Shoes | | Brand | WHITIN | | Closure Type | Hook & Loop | | Closure type | Hook & Loop | | Color | W30 | Pink/Grey | | Cushioning Level | Minimal | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 4,727 Reviews | | Fit to Size Sentiment | true | | Heel Type | Flat | | Inner material | Foam | | Insole Cushioning | Foam or rubber | | Item Highlight | Wide Toe Box, Breathable Mesh Upper, Minimalist Flat Sole, Abrasion-Resistant Tread, Perfect for Camping, Circuit Training | | Manufacturer | WHITIN | | Material Fabric | stretch fabric | | Model Name | W30 | | Occasion Lifestyle | hiking | | Occasion Type | Sports | | Outer Material | stretch fabric | | Outer material | Stretch fabric | | Pattern | Solid | | Pronation Correction | Neutral | | Seasons | All | | Shoe Height Map | Low Top | | Shoe Type | Athletic Shoe | | Sole Material | Rubber | | Sole material | Rubber | | Special Features | Lightweight, Slip Resistant | | Specific Uses For Product | Hiking | | Sport Type | Hiking,Fitness,Walking,Training,Trail Running,Trekking,Workout,Athletic,Tennis | | Strap Type | Hook & Loop | | Style Name | Sneaker, walking | | Surface Recommendation | Trail | | Theme | Sport | | Toe Style | Closed Toe | | UPC | 720310821248 | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Images ![Women's Minimalist Barefoot Trail Running Shoes W30 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81rO7CV9V2S.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: can you run on concrete with these?** A: I run a lot of 5ks and rran both a hilly 10 miler and 6 miler in them as well as hiked Mt Major in NH...they are excellent...I've had no issues whatsoever...some women behind me in the 10 miler talked loudly about how stupid I was to run in them...I seriously got them for running as I'm training for Marine corps marathon next month...now that I know I can machine wash them...I find them to be my perfect shoes...byebye sneakers **Q: Does the chemical smell go away? Did anyone get a pair that did not stink? These shoes are comfortable but I can’t wear them due to the smell.** A: Mine smell so bad, I can't wear them. I am trying to find out how to get rid of the smell so I can wear them. I love the feel of the shoe, but won't wear until I can get rid of the offensive smell--it makes me nauseous. **Q: What is the heal to toe drop?** A: Pretty close to zero. There is no additional layers in the heal part of the sole. Hist a slight amount of padding from the inner sole, which is removable if you really want that "barefoot" feel. You can really feel everything when you are wearing these. **Q: I wear a 6 in street shoes and a 6.5 in athletic shoes. Those don’t appear to come in smaller half sizes. Wondering what size to buy.** A: I wear a size 10 for one foot and a 9 for the other foot. I wear a wrap on the size 10 foot. I got a size 10 and they stretched enough to work for the size 10 foot WITH the brace on. They tighten enough to work for the size 9 foot so they aren't too loose. These shoes stretch, they are not ridged. I love them so, use your best judgment and if they don't work return them for the other size. I might add, I wear these barefoot except for the wrap on one foot, no socks. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My feet are happy! *by N***S on October 1, 2026* After reading about the benefits of wearing zero drop shoes I decided to try them and ordered these. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable, "grippy", and working well for strength training footwear *by J***K on September 17, 2025* I only give 5 stars when I really feel like I got some bang for my buck. So, while I am happy with these shoes... I feel the price was fair when I bought them on sale (Amazon deal days), but to get the "fair" price (rather than spend way more than they were worth (in my opinion)... I was very limited in color/size choice (other colors were not on sale). So, I got stuck with purple. lol It doesn't bother me too much, because I only wear them at home - I purchased them for strength training. I am mid 50s, so I have to admit that my sense of "style" is not up-to-date (lol), so these shoes are ugly to me - make me look like a duck. lol But I knew that going into the purchase. The wider toe area is why I wanted them - for stability when lifting, without restricting the bend and movement of my feet. I also needed a good "grippy" sole. I've been using these in my carpeted workout room about twice a week for a couple of months now, and there was no break in time - they are functioning just as I'd hoped and I'm happy with my purchase. They are easy to put on. I do wear socks with my barefoot shoes (I know, I'm weird lol) and I have left the insert in it (I have high arches, so I have to have something). They are lightweight. I've worn them briefly on wood and tile floors when I've had to leave the carpet to answer a phone call - traction (at least for just walking) seems good on those surfaces too. I, personally, would not be able to wear these hiking or running, as I want more protection for hiking and more cushion for running, but as a lifting shoe, these are serving their purpose better than anything I've ever tried. They also aren't overly hot. I find them to be comfortable (shoes during lifting used to bother me so much that I'd do it in socks or barefoot). Very comfortable for someone like me that really doesn't like shoes. ## Frequently Bought Together - WHITIN Women's Barefoot & Minimalist Shoe | Zero Drop Sole | Trail Runner - Joomra Women's Minimalist Trail Running Barefoot Shoes | Wide Toe Box | Zero Drop - WHITIN Men's Minimalist Trail Runner | Wide Toe Box | Barefoot Inspired --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/172252886-womens-minimalist-barefoot-trail-running-shoes-w30](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/172252886-womens-minimalist-barefoot-trail-running-shoes-w30) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
