Brilliant item, needed this quickly to cut some 120mm PC fan holes in a custom desk, worked perfectly solid quality kit, and at a great price

Ok for use on plasterboard but struggled with 6mm ply or MDF sheets. Can't cope with any type of cement board

Good basic set for the price. I used it on plasterboard and plastic without any problems. The case is handy and keeps everything together.

You get what you pay for I guess. I needed to cut a few neat holes and decided to get this set of cheap hole cutters since they weren't going to get a lot of use and I didn't want to lay out big money on something more 'professional'. Well here's the thing: not all the cutters have properly aligned teeth. Pros Nicely packaged Easy to use Cons Several blades arrived with bent teeth (they can be used, but the holes cut are slightly ovoid not round.) Given some blades arrived with bent teeth I suspect the quality of the steel is very poor and and other teeth with bend/blunt easily in use even on softwood. If you are in the market for a set of hole cutters I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

Needed a hole saw to cut a hole in some polycarbonate sheet to fit a cooker hood venting hose and this set offered the correct size I needed at a good price. The set comes in a useful carry case so is very easy to store. I was able cut through the polycarbonate with no problems, all the saw teeth seemed to be aligned correctly. I have since used a couple of the other saws to cut holes in wood, with mixed results - of course, the harder the material, the more difficult. Softwood timber was OK but I was surprised that laminate flooring planks posed a serious challenge - maybe that is made of harder wood than I thought. So whilst it performed well for its original purpose, I’m not sure that they will be that versatile when used on different materials.

Dans l'optique de préparer des trous pour nichoirs mais ne disposant d'aucun outil pour les réaliser, j'ai acheter cet ensemble de cloches bien complet. J'avais acheté auparavant un ensemble de cloches dans un magasin de bricolage avec une lame que l'on place dans des sillons pour faire la bonne taille... outil qui n'a jamais donné de résultats probants (la lame se retirait en pleine découpe... inefficace donc, et surtout dangereux). Ici, le tout est fourni dans une petite mallette d'excellente facture, bien rangé et plutôt compact pour la quantité et la taille de certaines cloches. Pour les petits diamètres, on retrouve un foret ne permettant pas d'ajouter un guide de renfort métallique (sans doutes car celui ci est assez gros). Pour tous les diamètre plus classiques, ce petit renfort permet de bloquer plus efficacement la cloche et éviter qu'elle ne vienne abimer la base attachée au foret. C'est plutôt simple, mais assez agréable à noter pour la durabilité des accessoires. Après quelques essais dans du bois dur de 25mm, je valide l'outil. Cela prend du temps, mais le travail est fait et bien. Le foret permet de bien guider la cloche et dans des cas comme le mien où l'épaisseur du bois est trop grande, cela permet de reprendre le trou sur l'autre côté de la plaque à découper. Petite info malgré tout, le trou créé par la cloche est parfois plus gros que le diamètre recherché... la faute à une lame parfois trop gourmande sur l'épaisseur du bois découpé. Forcément, vu l'épaisseur du métal utilisé, on a rien sans rien. Sachant que de mon côté les diamètres de nichoirs n'ont pas besoin d'être parfaitement au diamètre, cela n'a rien de grave, mais pour des découpes de précisions, c'est un défaut à prendre en considération. Recommandé donc de par la qualité globale pour le prix, et l'efficacité à l'utilisation, à condition de ne pas avoir à faire des trous à un diamètre exact.

Ich habe mir dieses Hychika Lochsägen-Set für verschiedene Arbeiten im Haushalt und in der Werkstatt gekauft und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Set ist sehr gut zusammengestellt und enthält insgesamt 19 Zubehörteile, darunter 13 Lochsägen in vielen gängigen Größen von 19 mm bis 152 mm. Damit ist man für unterschiedlichste Projekte bestens ausgestattet, egal ob für kleinere Reparaturen oder größere DIY-Arbeiten. Die Lochsägen bestehen aus hochwertigem, wärmebehandeltem Kohlenstoffstahl mit schwarzer Oberfläche. Dadurch wirken sie robust, verschleißfest und gut gegen Rost geschützt. Beim Arbeiten schneiden die Sägen sauber und schnell durch Materialien wie dünnes Holz, Kunststoff, PVC-Platten oder Kork. Die maximale Schnitttiefe von 25 mm ist für typische Heimwerkeranwendungen vollkommen ausreichend. Für sehr harte oder dicke Holzplatten sind sie zwar nicht geeignet, das ist jedoch klar angegeben und für den normalen Gebrauch kein Nachteil. Besonders praktisch sind die mitgelieferten Zubehörteile. Zwei Aufnahmen (Arbors) sowie zwei leicht austauschbare Bohrer ermöglichen ein schnelles und unkompliziertes Wechseln der Lochsägen. Der beiliegende Inbusschlüssel erleichtert die Montage zusätzlich und spart Zeit bei der Arbeit. Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die stabile Aufbewahrungsbox. Alle Teile sind ordentlich sortiert, sicher verstaut und leicht zu transportieren. So hat man jederzeit den Überblick und nichts geht verloren. Insgesamt bietet dieses Lochsägen-Set ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Es ist ideal für Heimwerker, Bastler und gelegentliche handwerkliche Arbeiten geeignet.
