ohhhh man. I love this bidet!
I lived in Japan for a while, where about 90% of toilets (both public and private) are equipped with bidets. When I finally returned to the U.S. after getting used to that feature, I knew I had to install one in my new place I just moved into not long ago. Setup was super easy; took maybe 20 minutes tops. Make sure you do have at least a screwdriver handy; I do have a set of tools, so that helped since it does not come with any tools for attachment. Unfortunately due to my toilet not having an electrical outlet directly next to it, I could not install an electric bidet seat with the heated seat, warm water, night light and drying features. I may decide to pay an electrician to install one later down the line, but so far I do love this one. My bidet in my Japan apartment did not have a drying option; only the heated seat, water pressure control, nightlight, warm and cold water. I noticed a good chunk of the bidets there did not have the drying option, so that's just if you like being extra lol. 😉 Anyway, it fit my toilet perfectly, I like the way the buttons are designed, and I feel like it cleans everything really well and when I go to pat dry, I find that everything is clear. As a female, this device is especially handy when it's that time of the month, just for that added overall freshness. Just make sure when you're installing, that you twist all the valves as tight as they can go before you turn the water supply back on. If not, you might get a slight spray lmao. I do also like the self-cleaning feature for the nozzle.

Life changing !!!
I have bought this exact bidet at least 5 times now. Not because it keeps breaking but because I keep buying it for my friends and family. This has quite literally changed my life and I make sure that all of my loved ones can have the same experience. This product is cheap, last a long time, and has a powerful and controllable spray. It has a cleaning button so that the water can run through the nozzle without spraying everywhere and a very nice adjustable spray power. It is amazing. For the money this is 100% worth it. Now installation can ethier take 5 minutes or 30. It all depends on the type of toilet and tools you have. It is not necessary to have tools, you just have to unscrew your toilet seat. (A wrench can be helpful to get off plumbing hoses). If it leaks that means you have put the washer and hose on wrong. Usually re-trying and adjusting it can work. I have had to replace the hose that is on my toilet due to it being old, but not this products issue. Installing it is very straightforward, but sometimes can have challenges with certain toilets. But you need to know that if it does leak that is a skill issue. I have always been able to fix a leak by re doing it. (Always make sure to turn off water supply when installing!!!) I can no longer live without a bidet. Having a perfect clean butt after every bathroom visit changes you in ways you cannot understand until you do it. You think that you are doing a good job wiping until you try this and you realize you have never properly been clean after a poop. Everyone deserves one, everyone should have one, and this one has always been a good option. It is cheap, straightforward installation, and a good range of water pressure. I have had mine for 3+ years with multiple moves and no issues. I have installed over 10 of these for friends and bought more than 7 of those. This is a tried and true product and if someone says it’s leaking, it is almost 100% the way they installed it. If you have $30 left in your bank account use it on a bidet. You will use it daily and your life will be for the better and the cleaner.

It works almost as well as the full seat bidet
The Samodra Bidet was delivered as promised. It was relatively easy to install as I gained experience from installing a seat based bidet I purchased from Costco. I am trying out both, comparing and contrasting them. Bottom line: They both work well. The Samodra cost $26 and the Brondell $53. The Brondell was more comfortable and made less splash while the Samodra utilized the existing seat. The job now is to learn and toget more acclimated using a bidet. Toilet paper usage has gone down about 95% but u have to use your own judgement as to how to use a bidet a what materials you need to accomplish that. I am happy with both.

Best Cleanly Bathroom Addition + Easy Installation
If am a very firm bidet user, if there isn't a bidet, I do not feel clean. I previously had the hose bidet that allows you to hold it and point to wherever needed cleaning, but after about a year, the hose began leaking like crazy, and eventually had to be replaced. After looking at several other bidets, and wanting to upgrade from the hose, this was the most cost-efficient option I could find, and thus the purchase was made. The installation was incredibly simple, I installed the previous bidet and this one, so I had experience working with the toilet, but if you don't know what you're doing a quick YouTube video will help exceptionally! It took less than 20 minutes, however, I had messed up when attaching the toilet seat back on so it wasted more than half the time. Other than my little mishap, it was super easy to install, which is great for any younger person who is scared that they may not do it correctly/scared of the water supply, you'll be okay! The bidet itself is exceptional. There are 4 different areas you can click on the keypad. One is to clean the nozzle (just spills out water straight down), one is for the feminine area, third is for the bottom region, and the fourth is to halt the water. There is also a nozzle in which you can turn in 2 directions. The more you turn it, the higher the water pressure will be, which the highest being directly on the bottom. This is amazing as I get to control how much pressure I need to self clean, without feeling like I am being torn apart (we have a separate bidet from a different brand in another restroom in my house, and it is so powerful that it actually hurts when cleaning. That one was $40 and this one was only $24, and I GREATLY prefer the $24 one) The only problem that I had with this bidet is learning where to place myself before cleaning. For this one I had to sit very far back on the seat, as it shoots more vertically than I'd prefer, but I may just be a weirdo who resides closer to the front of the seat than anyone else. I made a grave error that I will not mention due to personal reasons, but one tip I have so you don't make the same mistake as me is, even if you're just using the feminine wash, use the bottom wash first so you know where you're supposed to be. Then adjust your position and use the feminine wash. I've also found that I sort of have to lean forward a bit to clean where It's supposed to clean, as I said, the water spouts more vertically than I'd like. But I've learned to adjust myself, after a couple failed attempts.! All in all, I LOVE this bidet. Super easy to install, cleans well, cost-efficient, and honestly looks incredibly sleek!! I will try to update again with how long it lasts, but hopefully I never have to buy another one again (thinking positive). I recommend this bidet to anyone who's looking for a replacement bidet, or is looking to get into bidets !!! You will not regret it:-)

Excellent alternative to Toto Washlet
First off, I recently had our main bathroom remodeled and we splurged on a Toto SW3084#1 (C5) electronic washlet in our primary bathroom. It's great. It's a poop-time game changer for cleaning up (even over flushable wipes). But, for my basement office bathroom, I don't have easy access electrical that the Toto requires without cutting our drywall and paying and electrician more money than the Toto is worth. I say this after using the SAMODRA for more than month as I was close to spending the necessary money for a Toto washlet in that bathroom until I used the SAMODRA. Let's be clear on why a Toto washlet (specifically the cheaper C5): - adjustable temperature seat - multi-position sprayer - multi-type of spray (pulse, mist, etc) - butt air drier - air filter that runs while you poop [it's not that great] - adjustable temp water stream [Note it is NOT continuously heated. After 10s or so, you're on a regular water stream temp that fills the toilet. The toto has a heated reservoir of water.] - nice wireless remote Cons to Toto: - needs electric - price - not the greatest pressure stream compared to SAMODRA Here's why I bought the SAMODRA over other non-electric bidets. Specifically the control panel for it looked useable. I have neuropathy and some issues with range of motion in my right arm. While I would love to have the SAMODRA with controls on the left side, I have no issues using the controls with my right hand. Other manufacturers' models I looked at had more complicated controls or at least ones that I knew would be more difficult for me to operate with my neurologic and physiological issues. I actually just set the pressure at max for the stream and I never touch it, but it is easy to adjust via the dial. All of the push buttons operate great with a solid feel (partly because they're all mechanical in the first place). I've had zero leaks so far. Note to not over-tighten when connecting the water supply line! So, why do I prefer the SAMODRA over my C5 Toto? - With the limited warm water reservoir on the Toto, what's the real benefit of that aspect of the Toto? - The fact the SAMODRA doesn't have a multi-position sprayer like the Toto is not a big deal. I don't adjust the Toto that often in reality. For the SAMODRA, I just wiggle around a big or lean forward to get the goodies clean. - Both have a self-clean feature - Both have a feminine clean feature - The SAMODRA requires overall less maintenance than the C5. The routine maintenance you are told to do by Toto surprised me. Would I buy a Toto again over the SAMDORA? Probably not. After 6 months of using my Toto and over a month of my SAMODRA, I don't see a real value added by the C5 Toto to justify the huge price difference. Oh, one there thing. The way the C5 is designed, the back of the seat is curved up. You actually lose open toilet seat space versus a normal elongated seat combined with the SAMODRA. On the Toto, I can't actually get the ol' bait and tackles inside the seat to pee sitting down while going #2. It's a weird problem and a design issue for me with the C5. Because the SAMODRA works with your existing seat, you lose no open space into the toilet bowl. I can happily pee and poop at the same time!

Installed one in every bathroom
I have been using this brand for over 5 years now and every time I move I have increased a toilet. The product has changed over time from using a knob that spins 360 where the 180 position is full blast, and the newer ones spin only a quarter turn. Another change is that gate that opens where the nozzle is, that is been removed which makes cleaning easier with less debris being trapped. Last change is they added a tiny hinge where the seat connects back which keeps the seat from "floating" like they did at one place. All these changes make the product better and will continue to recommend this product

Great product and customer service
The bidet is super easy to install and took me 15 min. The product works great with the pressure settings helping you to adjust it to your comfort. I did however have an issue with the nozzle not retracting after 5 months. Customer service was great and sent me a replacement within 2 days.

Not durable
Works great except less than 1 year in and the nozzle often gets stuck down and no idea why.

It washed my troubles away!
I recently purchased the Samodra Bidet from Amazon, and I must say it has been a game-changer in terms of personal hygiene. The installation process was surprisingly straightforward, even for someone like me with limited plumbing skills. What truly sets the Samodra Bidet apart is its remarkable performance. The precision of the water spray is customizable, providing a gentle yet effective cleansing experience. The nozzle self-cleaning feature is a fantastic touch, ensuring a hygienic operation every time. After a romantic dinner, I decided to put the Samodra Bidet to the test. The refreshing sensation and thorough cleaning left me feeling exceptionally clean and invigorated. The water temperature control feature is a luxury, adding a touch of comfort to the experience. After a few glasses of White Zinfandel and several bowls of chili, I was feeling particularly adventurous and I decided to try the “female” front nozzle setting. It was incredible! I felt it wash away all my pent-up rage and aggression along with the feces and I was left feeling clean and calm. I have been using it daily now and could not feel better or more in control. I seem to be constantly backing my car into things, and I cry uncontrollably at TV commercials, but I honestly have never felt more in tune with the World. The adjustable pressure and nozzle positions cater to personal preferences, making it suitable for users of all ages. It can also be dialed up to a shocking stream that feels like there is a tiny Fire Fighter in the toilet putting out a five-alarm blaze in my balloon knot. The sleek design and intuitive controls enhance the overall user experience. Moreover, the bidet's energy-efficient mode aligns with modern sustainability values. In conclusion, the Samodra Bidet exceeded my expectations, providing a level of cleanliness and freshness that traditional methods simply cannot match. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their bathroom experience with a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly bidet.

Amazing
The installation was honestly much easier than I thought. Everything needed was included, and setup took less than 20 minutes without needing complicated tools. Even if you’re not super handy, it’s pretty straightforward. What really impressed me is how clean and modern it looks once installed. The ultra-slim design blends nicely with the toilet instead of looking bulky or cheap. It feels way more premium than the price point suggests. The water pressure adjustment is also surprisingly good. You can fully control the intensity depending on your comfort level, and the dual nozzle setup makes it practical for both rear and feminine wash modes. The self-cleaning feature is another huge plus because it helps keep everything hygienic without extra effort. Something nobody talks about enough is how much fresher and cleaner you actually feel compared to only using toilet paper. It also cuts down toilet paper usage a lot over time, which is honestly a bonus financially too. One reviewer even mentioned saving over $100 on toilet paper in a year after switching to a bidet attachment. I was also worried at first about whether cold water would feel uncomfortable, but honestly your body adjusts really quickly and it’s nowhere near as shocking as people imagine. For the price, this is genuinely one of those “small life upgrade” purchases that makes everyday routines feel cleaner, more comfortable, and honestly more modern. Once you get used to it, regular toilets without a bidet start feeling outdated.
