Gave to Grandchildren to play with alongside their soldiers. They are very authentic shame they are not a little bit bigger .

They arrived quickly and looked great in the packaging. They were a birthday present and the recipient loved them. I am very happy with the purchase. Good quality and good value for money.

I bought these along with the 200 piece Hautton Army set, the 8 piece Hautton soldier set and the 100 piece Army of Hautton soldiers. They are not to scale so the 8 piece Hautton soldiers are much bigger than the 10 Officers in the 200 piece set and the Officers are almost twice the size of the lower ranks. None of the soldiers would fit into the Army tanks and planes in the Hautton 200 piece set and frankly nor will they fit in this set. To my 4 year old and 7 year old Grandsons, size doesn't matter. They don't seem to notice they are not to scale. These Army vehicles look like heavy duty plastic to me although it says that they are metal. They are modern, fairly robust and well made. As a Grandma my toy soldier collection is over 20 years old and has been very well used. I keep adding to the box because inevitably some get lost over time. The younger boys don't care that I have a mixture of dates and uniforms, weapons and vehicles. Some are modern and some are second world war replicas. All that matters is that I have hundreds of pieces which they can position all over the lounge and into the hall. The vehicles are very important in their gaming and these will probably survive and be played with by my great grandchildren. Brilliant play value and they'll play for hours, so to my mind anything that gets them off the hand held screen is great value for money.

Expensive for what they are but on the plus side they are diecast so should last longer than cheaper sets I’ve seen, good selection of vehicles for my youngest grandson who’s into army toys at the minute!
