Great Stuff always a go to in my kitchen
Love the Dave’s. This sauce can make anything hot without affecting the overall taste. That’s what I love about it. I add it to all of my homemade soup's and salsa’s. It’s also great for spicing up meats. A few drops into a pound of taco meat is real tasty. Everyone that enjoys hot and spicy stuff should have this in their cooking arsenal

Extremely HOT!
Sauce is extremely hot. Could not taste flavor as such. However, I added a drop or two to the water portion of my rice preparation. Can control the heat in this fashion and adds some spice to the rice.Hamburgers, add a drop to a small amount of mayo and spread it on the homburg roll, as Emeril would say, "BAM."You get the picture, add sauce to a mixture and don't use by itself. I love the stuff!

Delicious!
First off, I just wanted to let everyone know that this is my first "real" hot sauce I have ever tried. Meaning, I've never had anything spicier than a Jalapeno before just a few moments ago. So after reading all of the reviews, I was expecting to be floored by the heat, but that wasn't the case. I put about a dime sized dab on to a chunk of tortilla and went tongue first to the sauce. The first thing I noticed was the taste. Probably the best tasting sauce I have ever had (but that list only includes about 10 name-brand, store-bought, mild-heat sauces. The vinegar, like in most other sauces, was not too prevalent. So back to the heat... it took about a minute for it to actually kick in and boy is it a-flamin, but it was tolerable with a glass of milk nearby to sip on. The heat lasted about 8 minutes tops. But here I am writing this review a half hour later and my lips are still feeling a tad bit of the burn. But as I said, this stuff was hot, but I don't think it lived up to the hype that the rest of the reviews are putting it at, and this is coming from a complete virgin to this kind of stuff. Regardless, it is a fantastic sauce and I HIGHLY recommend it especially to other virgin chiliheads like I was.

Yikes
This sauce is all kinds of hot, but not in the way that you might expect.See, most sauces use vinegar or some other water soluble liquid to turn their concoction into a pourable sauce. Vinegar easily washes off the tongue inside of mouth. Meaning curing the burn is usually just a glass of water (or milk) away with many cheap sauces, lookin' at you Franks Red Hot.Ultimate insanity on the other hand uses oil. This means two things, the less important one being that there are 5 fat calories per serving due to the high oil content. The more important fact however is that oil is much harder to get out of ones mouth and off the lips than vinegar or water. Because of this Ultimate Insanity sauce slowly builds heat until it reaches intolerable levels, at which point there not an awful lot you can other then tough it out and hope you still have taste buds when it's over. On top of that if spilled on skin or left on sides of mouth this stuff will burn in the literal sense. As far as taste goes, it's rich and not too peppery.Highly recommended to any heat heads out there...

Hot!!! but not as tasty/hot as I remember.
I feel as though i may have lost my taste buds the first time I tried this stuff. This isn't any ordinary hot sauce you can sprinkle on your pizza. This is concentrated habanero sauce!! The extract was hot enough to make you want to cry, but now it is but only a whimper of what it use to be.Don't get me wrong, it is still VERY HOT! But just not as dangerous as it once was. Once you open it, try to put in fridge as fast as possible because the heat fades fast. The longer it sits in your fridge, the milder it gets. Though, I will give it one thing, this sauce no longer scourches, but it will still last you a whilePros:-Very HOT-Will last you quite a while due to being more like an extract than a sauceCons:-Lack of Flavor, just mostly heat now (kinda a tangy smokey tomato flavor)-Not as hot as it once wasAll and all, if you need spice up something every now and then this is a great sauce. It is concentrated heat extract, and will last a while. There is not much to this sauce otherwise. Good luck and remember, little goes a long way.

Great heat!
I have what my friends and family call an "abnormally high tolerance to heat." I eat jolokia peppers no problem, I use 3am reserve by blair's on my food liberally (approx 1.2 million scoville units) and am never phased by any of it. I'm basically on a never-ending quest to find foods that will actually make me sweat a little bit. THIS sauce finally did it! It's not like my max capacity for heat or anything but unlike most other "spicy" foods that I just brush off as if they are tomato paste, this one I actually felt a good amount of heat on! So for those of you who are like me and have a high tolerance to heat and don't want to buy a hotsauce before you find out if it REALLY is hot or not, trust me when I say you won't be disappointed! And IF for some odd reason this one isn't hot enough, again I'm VERY tolerable to spiciness, but you should try Dave's 2013 Scorpion Pepper reserve! Even with as tolerable to heat as I am, that sauce is so hot it is pretty much my limit for heat! It builds and builds for SO long! Feels great though!

Hottest sauce I've ever used
When they say on the bottle to only a drop is needed they mean it. I am familiar with very hot sauces but this one got the better of me. More than a little bit and it sent me into hiccupping, tears, and pain. Usually after a few meals your tongue gets acclimated to a certain level of heat but it never happened for me with this sauce. If you're looking to test your limits this one is worth trying.
