My personal FAVORITE heat pad! I’ve used this for all of my reptiles over the years and have never had a problem or malfunction! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! However the only downside is that there is no temp indicator on the knob so you just have to learn and memorize how hot or cold it is. I place it on the undersides of my tanks and it can get well up into the 100s. So please be wary. Other than that GREAT product! Very safe.

Good for keeping lizards warm. It is a little pad so it doesn't put off a ton of heat, but just the right amount for my little aquarium.

However, it's important to note that for a tank as large as 55 gallons, this heater alone may not be sufficient to maintain the desired temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit consistently. While the heater does a decent job, it's recommended to use it in conjunction with additional heating solutions to achieve optimal conditions. It's a reliable and safe option that effectively contributes to maintaining the appropriate temperature within the tank. Just be aware that for larger tanks, additional heating equipment may be necessary to achieve the desired temperature consistently throughout the enclosure.

Do not buy it does not stick to the tank at all. It sucks.

The Tikaton Reptile Heat Pad has worked wonderfully for our reptile setup. I use it under my bearded dragon’s secondary tank, and it keeps the temperature consistent without getting too hot. It’s quiet, energy-efficient, and gives me peace of mind knowing our little guy stays cozy day and night.

i got this to heat up my mushroom grow jars so not exactly the same purpose but it was not good, it didn't heat consistently throughout the pad, so if you are getting it for your reptile you'll have to place it properly as the whole matt won't heat equilaterally.

Works very well, great temperature rating to warm sand and coconut fibers, it’s holding up well no issue with the heating pad, the adhesive on it works well to keep it in place, size works to a hot spot for any habitat size, easy to use
