I started using paper bags instead of plastic to keep veg in my fridge drawer. Apart from the obvious reason to cut down on plastics, the paper bags allow air to circulate the veg and not go mushy. I’m convinced the veg lasts longer too.

Hubby and I did laugh as I was after sandwich bags which were a little bigger than the same ones, well chuckle we did you could get 3 days of sandwiches in them. However they won't go to waste and good value for money.

I have previously bought another well known brand of these bags and they have a gusset these don't so whilst they are longer you have to schoogle a well filled sandwich into the bag, but they are very good overall, i would buy again but go a size bigger again next time.

The bags are a good size and ideal for sandwiches & other lunchtime snacks. We’re on our third batch and haven’t had a single issue with the gluing or strength of the bags- the quality has been consistent & we intend to keep buying them. I like these bags to keep my vegetables fresh in the fridge. The bags are nice and large to put veg in, and I then pop the brown bag in a re-usable compostable bag made from potato starch in the fridge. I only shop once a week, eat a lot of fruit and veg, and this method along with my fridge maintaining 5' C keeps even my brocolli green and fresh for days and days. No wasted veg! Ideal..They are not the thickest of brown bags, but I have them in various sizes and use them a lot.

These are perfect for sandwiches for packed lunches for the kids. They keep their lunch fresh. I also use them for snacks like biscuits, keeping open packets of ham in or for fruit and vag. Highly recommended

We use these to put used, wood pulp cat litter in, so that we use less plastic. Seem stronger than our previous bags which were a more standard plain brown paper construction. These have a slight shine to them.If there is a down side to them, they are quite noisy. Yeah, I know, bit of a weird thing to say and not an issue for us but offered just in case you are looking to pack your lunch in these to eat in a library or something!
