HIGHLY recommend, must try it out.
I must say I absolutely LOVE this sketchbook. I have no idea why it doesn't have much reviews but I would like to give my input on my purchase. I used to be a moleskine user but I just found the yellow tint to be rather bothersome to me. That is just my opinion though. Otherwise both sketchbooks are lovely. But to the actual review... I love the size of the sketchbook. Moleskine is 5x8.25 whereas Leuchtturm1917 is 5.75x8.25. I like the extra width because I tend to doodle and draw big. Plus my hand tends to lie on the edge of the book, but with the Leuchtturm1917 it gives me just a tiny bit more room to rest my hand on. It may not seem like a big difference, but it was a preference that I am very into. Another thing I love about this sketchbook is the paper. It is thick, holds ink well, pure white, and doesn't feather. In my experience with the pens and markers that I use it does not feather; however, I have seen people have different experiences on it. For me it is perfect. I never see ink bleed through unless it is an alcohol based marker (that is pretty typical tho), but it does not bleed to the point it will go onto the next page which is very nice. I don't have to panic when I forget to put a scrap piece of paper between the pages to prevent the bleeding. And it is pure white! Just how I like it. My colors will not alter or look different because it doesn't have the yellow tint. Although some people like to use white pens so obviously the white paper will not show it easily, but for me I only use white pens on areas I have colored so that isn't an issue. The binding is AWESOME. I have no idea if the books are consistent because I only have bought one, but the current sketchbook I have lies flat on the table and the pages barely lift up. The only ones that lift a little is the previous page that I have already drawn on, but it is so little you can barely tell the difference. I think the ONLY down side about this sketchbook is it's accessibility. Sometimes I would like to go to the store and just buy it on the spot. Sadly, the area I live in doesn't sell Leuchtturm1917 brand anywhere. The only thing that is similar like it is the Moleskine but I do not want to buy that. Thankfully amazon prime is a plus, but for those of you who do not have it I recommend purchasing it a few days before you finish your sketchbook so you have something to draw in before it arrives. The price is not an issue for me at all. I know Moleskine (at least the 5x8.75 sketchbook) is cheaper than the Leuchtturm1917, but I find Moleskine's sketchbook qualities to be inconsistent and the fact I do not like the yellow tint. So I am more than happy to pay a few more dollars for something I love and will use all the time. Plus I tend to finish one sketchbook roughly around 2-4months so spending $24 every few months is not going to kill me. I am more than half way with completing this sketchbook and with no doubt will buy another one as soon as I complete it. I hope this review gives you an idea about the sketchbook. If you do buy it I hope you love it as much as I do.

Sturdy and comfortable to use
I don't think I can use another sketchbook after using this one, to be honest! The paper quality is sturdy enough to handle (light amounts of) water color, gouache and acrylic, although the paper does start tearing up after more than one or two layers of water-based paint. I prefer it over the popular moleskine line of sketchbooks because of the white color of the pages, the extra amount of width making a huge difference to ease of use, and the more textured feel of the paper. I do wish this came in paper bound rather than hardbound, but unless it's a spread where two signatures meet, I havent ran into any issues with the sketchbook lying flat. Would recommend to anyone looking for a sketchbook to last them throughout the year. If you want a notebook for bullet journaling, I'd recommend leucchteurms non-sketchbook edition for it's cheaper price, index, and wider array of options. Tldr, this is a sturdy sketchbook with sturdy paper that is enjoyable and easy to draw in, especially if you have larger than average hands. Bullet journalists, buy the non-sketchbook version.

This is an amazing product. I cannot understand how they manage to ...
This is an amazing product. I cannot understand how they manage to have 96 perfect pages where every other brand has only 50 at the same price. This means twice as cheap and lasting twice as long. A true European product, it is very elegant, with a silky convenient bookmark, a pocket and round edges (all others have sharp, which I did not notice until I got Leughtturm). The paper is perfect for copics - I am comparing it with the Molescin and Stillman&Birn, Zeta series, both of which are ok, but lose to this one on size, elegance, and color options. Lies flat, not heavy, not think. Much better than anything else in sketchbooks.

An Emerald Green companion to brighten up dull times....
Before I start talking about the sketchbook I would like to point out that the delivery was superb. My parcel was shipped from Germany and not only was it meticulously packed, but it also got to me a full week before the expected delivery time. The sketchbook itself is not a disappointment either, I was thrilled to find that I can easily use pens and markers with absolutely no feathering or bleed through! Again- absolutely none! Watercolours (Light to medium) and Inktense pencils; even though look fine, I suppose, on the side of the page they are applied to, have significant bleed through on the backside of the page and in one instance even on the page following it. The page does not wrinkle much however and the colours show up nice and bright. Since this is not a watercolour sketchbook anyway, this hasn't bothered me much... Apart from this slight observation I have only good things to say about the item. The binding is sturdy and opens flat. The pages are bright white without being stark and are of good quality. The proportions are slightly different from my moleskine, a bit wider, which I didn't think would matter much but now that I have it in my hands, I quite prefer it! All and all I give this 4 stars, I don't believe it to be the absolute best out there but it's pretty good :)

Great sketchbook, First Leuchtturm
Came just as listed and shipping didn't take long at all. The size is perfect and the pages lay flat and are thick for different kinds of media. Pencil smears a little on the paper, but not too much to be bothersome. It even has a pocket for loose papers in the back. Lovely sketchbook and I can't wait to fill it up!

Good product, came damaged
Love the size and feel of this sketchbook. The paper accepts pen and pencil beautifully it is very smooth. Can't wait to dry using copics on it. Unfortunately the product came with one corner of the cover torn. I considered returning but after all it is the paper inside that counts.

My new bullet journal is great!
I use this as my new bullet journal, and I LOVE it. I prefer thick blank pages I can safely watercolor on, and also not deal with bleeding pens or semi transparent pages. I like the quality and weight of the paper. The only pens I have that bleed through are my copic markers- and even they don't bleed ALL the way through all the time- which is a rarity! Perfect size, and very nice color. I'm probably going to stick with this brand over moleskin. I prefer the variety of colors available.

Sturdy sketchbook, excellent paper quality for a variety of mediums
I love the bright white ground (compared to the cream/off-white color of Moleskine paper) and use this for pencil, pen, marker, and some acrylic work. The paper is extremely smooth and the notebook itself holds up well to a fair amount of abuse from being tossed into a backpack or bag with a bunch of other stuff. These will continue to be my go-to sketchbooks - worth the price!

Recomendable.

Solid Choice
This sketchbook has smooth white paper as expected and the best part is that the book opens flat which is perfect for a page spread illustration.
