Dry mouth contributes to gum recession, so my dentist recommended using Biotene mouth wash a few years ago. I tried it and saw no difference, particularly at night, when I have terrible cotton mouth. I saw the mouth spray and thought that easier to use in the middle of the night, so got it and used it several times a night. It made my teeth super sensitive, so I had to stop using it. My dentist then recommended Salivea, which appears not do that, but neither do I use it in the volume I did the Biotene. I've read that the makers of Salivea created what became Biotene after they sold it to another drug company, who changed it a little, and that Salivea is their original creation. It does not have such a startling taste, which I prefer in the middle of the night. While this is no cure for dry-mouth, and I still have dry mouth at night, it does help.

The spray is focused on a small area of your mouth where you aim. It’s not an overall spray of the mouth if the entire mouth is dry. Spraying on the tongue helps but you may need multiple sprays. But it definitely works.

This does have a strange taste as others have said, but it does seem to moisturize the mouth. The mouthwash version is more pleasant.

Good moisture but is too sweet for me. Won’t buy this again.

Worked great for dry mouth

Worst tasting sugar-free dry mouth moisturizing spray i have tried. That's my opinion. The day my order arrived it was hot and the bottles were rather warm. I know heat can effect some sugar-free sweetners to turn more bitter. Maybe thats what happened to my order? I go back to Lubricity Spray for the taste even though the cost is a bit higher. Update 7/25/26 both bottles taste terrible.

Works for about 5 minutes and then the dryness is back now with a sticky feel. Cannot spray upside down for the roof and sides of the mouth. Waste a money and it's too expensive. I would not recommend this product.
