This was purchased to make an extension cord for a water leak detector/shut-off which uses a 4-cell AA pack with these connections These connectors seem to be sturdy and the wire seems serviceable as well..

I am pleased with the durability of these.Just be aware that they are backwards with red going to the negative post.
