XTRONS Full HD 1080P Car DVR Road Video Recorder Dash Camera Car Driving Recorder Hiden with 140° Wide Angle, Loop Recording

This connects to my Xtrons android head unit and integrates perfectly. I was a bit concerned that the vertical rotation of the lens might not be enough for my Land Rover Defender, with its very steep windscreen. However, it fits and works fine, with a clear view from the middle of the bonnet, way off into the distance. Only fitted for a few days now, but really happy with the performance.

Great camera and simple connection

The main feature of the camera is the GPS so if and when you have an accident it captures your location and speed. That's fair in enough for a lot of countries because the speed is in KPH and not MPH. Beware this can't be changed for love not money. Being XTRONS I would have thought they would have contacted their manufacturer and requested the MPH function. This I thought would be in mph as similar model usb cameras I have purchased use the exact same software which I was hoping to avoid. So camera is 3x the price with looks like a very similar hardware design and exact same software application. It cannot utilise the DVR software that is already pre installed on Xtrons head units Camera is good quality except that in night time situation you can't see number plate in front. Their is brightness control but even set to minimum doesn't help. Although it has ADAS & EDOG The notification voice is a very bad Scottish accent on the ADAS and Chinese on EDOG.

Good camera but I had one problem with it the line assistant does not work very well as it goes off randomly and becomes very irritating. But the recording is all good gave 4 star because of that 1 issue

Slightly confused reading some of the reviews here. The picture quality is really poor. Like watching a CRT tv in a basement with a hanger as an aerial. Maybe I've forgotten what 720p actually is but surely the picture should be better when you're using a smaller screen. Anyway, I couldn't recommend.

Good quality unit and much better than the cheaper 170 degree Xtrons which I returned. I also had fun and games formatting the SD card. First made it fat32 on my pc, then put it in the headunit usb and formatted it again NOT as portable storage then finally put it in the dashcam and formatted it again and it worked!

Picture and sound quality is not great but for the money it is ok, It saves video evidence in case of any accident you have.
