The leather is very soft to the touch and nice to feel on your fingertips, the lining is lovely and warm as it hugs the back of your neck comfortably. It is a nice quality consistent shearling sheepskin, which is exactly what the old pilot jackets were made from and could even protect your head a little if you slipped on ice. It fits me perfectly going by the size guide, it looks very good and not like a poor quality one. The customer support from Zavelio is very good too so you can buy with confidence. I contacted the seller who immediately responded by asking me did I want a refund or swap the smaller size for the next size up all so giving me instructions as to what I should do to return the hat . As there was nothing wrong with the quality of the hat I requested the large size. Before I could organize getting myself to the post office to return my original purchase the new hat arrived which did fit perfectly.
