- It goes by many names air plant, clapper bush, curtain plant, floppers, green love, hoja de aire, life leaf, live forever, mexican loveplant, miracle leaf, motta patti, etc. It grows outdoors in zones 10 and 11 or as in indoor plant everywhere else. It is very hardy and easy to grow. They prefer to only be watered when dry and given lots of sunlight. The leaves have also been utilized for medicinal uses.
