Easy to install; perfect for access to water shutoff valves
I'm installing a new bathtub in our upstairs bathroom. As part of the project, I've added shutoff valves for the hot and cold water supply lines. This allows work to be done on the bath/ shower plumbing without shutting off water to the whole house. Thankfully, we have a small closet with a wall on the other side of that plumbing, and that is where I've installed these access panels. I made a template from a piece of cardboard, then cut the drywall, put a bead of adhesive caulk around each panel's trim, and popped them in. Super quick and it's perfect for application.

Plastic door in frame works well
The piece is made well. Tight fitting, flat, white, with straight sides. Went in easy and well priced.

Hatch that looks nice and Maintains Access
You remodel a room, especially in your lower floor where pipes are located, you are going to NEED these if you throwing up new drywalls. Measure where you need the hatch, install your wall, measure and cut carefully through the wall and install your hatch which looks very nice. It pops open with a little pressure and boom, you have easy access to a panel/cleanout etc. Absolutely beats the guess work out of cutting and trying to locate it if there is a problem down the road. Good stuff!

It just works, well made.
Axcess pannel appeared well made, The panel door hinge is first class. There was no a adhesive included as stated in the unit lable, I have never gotten an adhesive packagers with any other access pannel ever. I did not expect any glue. Granted this is a simple device, in fact I expected much less and purchased this just to review. My conclusion: This is a well constructed unit especially it's hinge. when closed door remains solidly shut requiring a flat head to pry open. excelent, excelent, exclent!

Good Product
I used this door to trim out an access hole I needed to cut in a drywall wall to pull a new thermostat cable. This door worked nicely for my project. Be careful to layout and check the cut dimensions and also check for wall studs before you put saw to drywall. I used double-sided tape behind the flange to mount the door since my supply of adhesives had gone bad - Worked like a charm. Since I installed the door in an out-of-the-way corner, near the floor and under a counter top, I didn't need to paint the door - plus my wall is painted white, so the door blends in well as-is. The door and frame both have a textured surface which looks like it could be painted or wallpapered if needed. Based on my experience with this access door I would recommend it highly.

great for access panels!
I purchased these to install in my ceiling where I have an area where my cable and network wires have to turn and go up to the second floor. instead of sealing it up, I can use this panel. I painted it the same color as the ceiling so it blends in a little better. It easily installs with adhesive caulk. Cut the opening out with the drywall saw, put a bead of caulk around the brim, and press the trim into the cutout. Then wipe away any excess caulk and tape into place for 12-24 hours and you're done.

Wish it was easier to open...
Had a plumbing emergency and needed to cut into the drywall to access the pipes. Instead of fixing the drywall I decided to order this access panel in case we ever need to work on it again. It fit perfectly and looks great! The one downfall is it is very difficult to open. Not a huge deal considering I don't plan to open it regularly. But to gain access I needed a flat head screw driver and had to pry both slits and pull hard to get the door to come unclipped. The plastic held up but I figure if this is done too many times it could eventually break.Other than that I am satisfied with the purchase.
