Foil tape sticks well, ( good adhesive, and foil is strong.) Problem is with release liner or paper tape on the back. If you cut the tape and liner together it is very difficult to pry them apart. Release liner / Paper backing should be thicker. If paper gets wet then it tears like toilet paper, and on a high humidity day it gets soft and is prone to tearing. I have found that once I get the foil tape and liner apart, it is better pull the liner back and only cut the foil. Recommend you store indoors (air conditioned) to keep it dry up until you need to use it.Minus 1 star ( 4 out of 5 ) because of the release liner issues.

Just what I needed. Sealed all of the connection point on my furnace flue stack. No leaks and it stands up well to the exhaust stack temperature of about 250 degrees, Great product. Easy to install (trick for peeling the backer paper off: after you cut the tape to length, hold the corner of the tape between your fore finger and thumb with about 1/4" sticking out. Flick the exposed piece back and forth with your other hand fingers. You will see the backing start to peel away. Grab it and peel it off the remainder of the length. Works for me!!!)

Product very sticky, strong enough and exactly as described. I did have trouble getting it back separated the one time I missed my cut and had to re-peel it off the backing from a straight cut, the rest of the time I made sure to leave a bit of the backing longer than the tape.I used this product to wrap a bike frame (then used led's to light it up) for a event. Worked great.

This is a better value than the shorter roles sold in most home improvement stores. This roll is considerably longer and easier to peel and than a similar product sold in stores. It is noticeably less sticky than other brands I've used, though. So for large projects adhering paper-faced insulation or covering seams between pieces of flexible metal piping this would work well. But if you need extra strong adhesive this would not work as well as other brands.

I've used quite a few different versions of aluminum and Mylar tapes, and this one sits about middle class. I appreciate that it's a very heavy tape, and I had no issues with it tearing unless I wanted it to. The only real issue that stood out was it sticking to itself beyond belief. If you were to use it in short applications, this is the tape for you, but for longer runs, it's a toss up.

I purchased this tape to use for grounding buttons on a laptop computer. The laptop wireless toggle would keep turning on and off. The problem was static electricity. This tape being conductive was able to ground the button array to the DVD drive which solved my problem. So the tape worked great for my purpose.

Not as sticky as the 3M stuff I can get at home improvement stores. I got it because I needed wider tape than I can get locally. Not good when you need the tape to provide some mechanical support as well as sealing leaks.

This is the kind of tape you need to seal around your metal fibreglass Boxes in your AC system. A large roll at a fair price,but that's probably a thing of the past with sales tax and having to order $35 or more to get free shipping.

As advertised. Quite thick foil though... great for wrapping flat objects, more difficult for odd-shaped objects.

This tape works great. I used it to put some insulating skirting on my 5th wheel. I've used it before and it stands up to any type of weather.
