Bought this mainly as a teaching aid to demonstrate arch of movement.When you first inspect it the sighter, the laser lens does appear off-center, but I was pleasantly surprised that the laser is very close to the point-of-aim, point-of-impact on my rifle's zero. I guess it is by design.

Works good but definitely not the best. I bore sighted my deer rifle to 25 yards but will have to sight it in on paper in a few days. The material feels a bit cheap but better then nothing in a pinch. I will test it agains my laser lyte bore sighter as well.

Received ok but two of the four arbors were not in box.

I read the reviews, but alas, I did not heed the warnings. I bought it anyway because I thought, “I’ll be the lucky one and get a good one.” It was not to be. Sure enough, like so many of the reviewers, the one I got would, when rotated in the barrel, proscribe a circle well over a foot in diameter on a target at 25 yards. I say “circle” but that is not completely correct. With a circle, at least I could assume that the zero would fall somewhere within the area outlined by the laser. But, the shape was more like that of an hourglass. I tried the tricks the other reviewers suggested, using tape to tighten up the bore pads. I also tried using the enclosed Allen wrench to fine tune the laser. Nothing helped.Needless to say, within an hour of opening it and trying it out, I had already printed out my return label and boxed it back up.It is getting one star mainly because we can’t assign negative stars. So, the one star is for the nice box it came in and the fact that once the return package entered the postal system, Amazon credited my account right away. (As I'm entering this, I see that 1 star means "I hate it" and 2 stars means "I don't like it.", so Amazon's star system is a little misleading.)I’m a big fan of going cheap, but for $11.58, it is not worth the time spent sending it back.

I didn’t receive any instructions with this kit. Nothing was labeled. The batteries were even difficult to get in place correctly. I fumbled around for a while before getting it to work at all. Once I got it working, I had a hard time using it as well. I ultimately was able to get my .22 mostly sighted in and did the rest without aid. I’d have a hard time recommending this for anything other than low price. I did manage to get some function out of it but it wasn’t easy or intuitive in any way. Without any labeling or instruction the user has some work on their hands to get results. It feels flimsy and I’m sure it would break easily or just simply stop working at any time. If you have to have it and want to get it cheap, you’ll be able to get some use out of it.

Simple to use. Great for the price. I have another one of these that cost five times what this one did. I used the cheaper one to site in my rifle. Took it off. Put the expensive one in and bamm. Dead center on the cross hairs. So I fired 5 rounds. At 200yards. Damm all five within a 2 inch circle. So this product gets five stars.

Arrived earlier than estimated. Initial assessment is great. Well built, main body constructed of aluminum. With the proper included adapter fit well and snug into AR15. Laser is bright indoors. I don't have enough room indoors to sight in iron sights or optics. When I do the real test will be when I take the rifle to the range. I may update later if really impressed or really disappointed.
