SMART-SERVICE Mini USB Keyboard USB Light with Adjust Angle, Pack of 5

I had purchased another similar light from another vendor here at Amazon, so when i saw how cheap it was to buy 5 I took the plunge. The strange thing with these lights are that they are suppose to be LED lights, which they are, but I am not sure why on the top they get very, very hot. On top of the light there is a metal piece which at first I thought it was for decorative purposes, but when you touch it, it literally burns its so hot. Rather than risk burning something, I decided to throw them all away. It wasn't just one but all five seems to be very hot.Not sure if I am the only one with this issue.

Yes they do run warm. Mine didn't come in multi colored like the photo. I only received black and yellow ones. However mine included six instead of five, and all of them work. Flexibility: good for moving up and down. Not so good turning sideways, so it works best pointed in line with your USB port.They also seem to work in a USB hub which has said it's not intended for external portable hard-drives. So these definitely draw less power than hard-drives, though must be more than mice and keyboards.

These are inexpensive mini USB. Mine have all worked so far. My most frequent use is on a tablet with a keyboard and kickstand. I have to bend the light 90 degrees and then give it a twist. I suspect it would be best to not straighten it between uses, but so far, the lights have held up. At less than a buck forty each, these aren't a bad deal. They don't put out a lot of light, but work well if just a little light is needed.

These work great! You can't beat the price, and the light they provide is so bright. I gave a couple to my son and my cousin because there's plenty to share. The colors are just like the photo. They bend easily so you can direct the light where you want it. The top part does get hot but not burning hot, and you won't be touching it anyway. Very worth the money, I would definitely recommend this product.

Nice little lights to light up my keyboard at night. I plug one into a rechargeable power pack and place it behind my keyboard. It gives off plenty of light for me to see the keyboard in a fully darkened room.Yes, they get hot. It warns you right on the package. Solution? Don't touch it.Five lights for under 5 bucks...what's to complain about?

As the title says they arrived no fancy packaging or anything but one of them were not working..I purshaced this lights as small gifts for a training competition so i actually counted exactly how many i need. So i was disappointed to find one not working after testing all of them. Buy from another provider maybe your case is worst than mine!

I use it on my computer when I DJ to light up my table sometimes. I have used it to emmit low light in a room. Just plug into a usb then an outlet and u have light. A great night light! Had them for a few years and they still work fine.

A good deal for USB lighting. Flexible and surprisingly bright. Downsides: consumes more power than old USB keyboard lights, so batteries drain faster; be careful touching metal plate on back while in use because they get HOT!
