I have not yet made anything with the plain Sesame Tahini one, but I did immediately open the Chocolate one and taste it right out of the jar (it's chocolate after all....). It is wonderful, and I have eaten it straight out the jar as a snack every day since. It does bring back memories of eating halva as a kid, but way better due to the more adult taste of the dark chocolate. I'm sure there are those who would say it's not as good as their particular halva memory, but I would say to just enjoy it for what it is and not compare it to a different product altogether. It's pricey, but it's pretty wonderful.

worth the price. the plain is amazing in hummus and the chocolate is tasty right out of the jar. Put either on toast,fruit, etc.

I have literally been searching for the perfect tahini paste for years! I read about this brand and decided to try it and I could not be more thrilled because I like to make my own hummus. This tahini is lightly flavored not overpowering and has a great consistency. It makes my hummus light and fluffy. I won’t use any other brand from now on!

I was looking for a pourable unflavored tahini that did not include a bunch of unnecessary ingredients. After some searching found Soom and placed my order hoping that the regular tahini would be pourable. I was also intrigued by the chocolate one because well chocolate. The regular tahini is indeed pourable, very smooth and took very little stirring. The chocolate is thicker and needs a bit more work to stir but so worth it. Both have really good flavor. I’m lookkkg forward to using the chocolate as a donut topping and using the regular on everything I can add it to. Super tasty.

I was intrigued by the fact that people swear it doesn't clump and I love the business model and that the company is female-owned. While, yes, it's very smooth and pourable, etc., it didn't blow my socks off. I also didn't think tahini could be bland, but this is...flat. The jar is small, I was only able to get about 4 recipes out of it, which is absurd for the price. That also didn't allow me to see if the "no clumping" claims were true. If someone hands me this, I'll use it, but I would never go out of my way to pay this price for it.Since I had to buy a 2-pack, I thought I'd try the chocolate one to make my partner some treats (he likes the popular chocolate-hazelnut spread). Since I'm not a fan of very sweet things (or chocolate, for that matter), this was very nice. The first bite took a second for my brain to reconcile but, once we all knew what was going on, it was pretty tasty.I wouldn't repurchase either of these at these prices.

The chocolate is like fudge sauce-super chocolaty-a good thing in my book. The plain tahini is delicious. The kind I usually get doesn't seem to be available any longer so I didn't know what to expect but I am happy with it.

It is basically halva in a liquid form . It was runny when I first opened it . I placed it in fridge . Kept getting into the jar sneaking tastes . HOLY COW ! It has a thick fudge like texture.

This product is divine! I used the regular tahini for a tahini sauce - water, lemon, bit of salt - and it was the best I ever had. On a whim, I added a bit of water to the chocolate tahini - tahini thickens when you first add water - and it turned into fudge frosting!!! I could not have told the difference, and I am one of those annoying foodies that sources my spices and teas. Best frosting hack EVER. If you buy this, please try this and post it so everyone will know I am not crazy. Just sat alone in my kitchen eating my fudge frosting out of a bowl, happy as can be.
