Doing repairs at home, get a book.

Plenty of pictures, diagrams, and charts. A lot like the shop manuals we used to use back in high school. A great idea for anybody who owns one of his cars and wants to do as much as they can by themselves.

Usually Haynes manuals are usually pretty helpful but unfortunately for this year focus there are a few discrepancies. First off, there is no information on the removal and installation of the DCT transmission which is one of the reasons I bought the manual. Secondly, the three cylinder engine section is labeled V8 on the title section and the top of every page for that section of the manual which could be misleading to some people. Could have been done better Haynes.

General service manual overall. Will help through most work needing to get done.

Like all my other Haynes manuls, these have all the torque specs wiring diagrams and helpful tips. Buy a new car? Buy the Haynes manual for it you will not regret it

book was new fit description

I have a 2017 vehicle but 2014 information were close enough, as usual these books helps a person figure out a problem when required.It came on time and as stated.

It wasn't enough depth for what I needed. Not a lot of info on the dashboard.

It doesn’t state in the description or anywhere else, but this is for an American model of this car and the details are not transferable to the English models of the same cars. I only found out after buying and then contacting the publisher. Don’t make the same mistake, especially when - like me - buying from a third party seller. This seems to be a case of blatant false advertising on a UK site, as I’m not sure anyone buying this in the UK would be satisfied to receive what is very obviously an unsuitable book for their needs.

Every time I buy a car I get the Haynes manual for it just in case of a breakdown. It has often saved me having to trouble a mechanic. The Ford Focus manual is no exception. I hope I never need it but it is full of useful info if I do.

Not as good as the hard back haynes books used to be they had glossy pictures to show items in detail to work on this paperback is dull drab and uninteresting.

If you like to do minor repairs and maintenance yourself, then you need a shop manual like this one. Owner manuals that come with a vehicle only show you it’s features and how to use the vehicle, but have little or no information on how to do maintenance and repairs specific to your vehicle. The owners manual might show you how to replace a flat tire but usually that’s about it. You MIGHT be able to find some information on YouTube or the internet (good luck with that), but it’s mostly hit and miss and you usually have to spend hours sifting through garbage information. This book shows you how to do just about any repair or maintenance, step by step, with pictures. Anyone can do it and save a ton of money on inflated costs of parts and labour at a service centre or repair shop. All you need is some basic common tools.

Covers way too many basic things; where most people whom are using this book in the first place should know already.(Good for newcomers to CAR DIY)Secondly has some missing information that you need the actual car manual to be referenced (example-does not have FUSE diagrams/placement, specific numbers/sizes and parts and numbers)I do not have a manual with my car(used) so I still had to get a manual to reference the information because this book did not have it.Otherwise a lot of the trouble/problem shooting checks in this book are good and help in diagnosing and fixing problems with your car.
