A nice, clean solution for getting from a DisplayPort GPU to a HDMI screen. Video and sound works fine. It's a good looking cable that looks good and is flexible enough to not cause problems. The 6ft length seemed like a lot but it has actually turned out useful for connecting a computer to a TV.

I ordered this to add a 3 monitor to my editing computer. It worked flawlessly! A few days after I got it connected, I received an email from the company with some troubleshooting tips and tricks. I can only assume that some people are having trouble. My cord is connected to the display port on my video card (output) to a 1080p HP monitor HDMI port (input) and it works great! From what I gather, if you are trying to go from HDMI output to display port input, it won't work. I'm very happy with mine. Here is some information the seller sent me. Warming Notes: 1. It is a UNI-DIRECTIONAL cable, only works to convert from DisplayPort source to HDMI display. One way transmission. 2. Please note that this product is NOT compatible with Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation 4/5, and all the PCs that do not have Displayport. 3. If you are using docking station/hub, please check whether it supports DP++. *Docking stations/hubs that do not support DP++ will not be compatible with our product. 4.For some monitors/TVs that do not automatically detect and switch input source, please adjust manually to select the correct input source. 5. Restart your laptop or desktop because sometimes other software/Apps may make your device abnormal or it has been working for a long time (maybe a few days); Any queries or issues occur, please feel free to contact us and we are more than happy to help. Works as expected. Plug into PC and monitor. That's it.

This item did not work and arrived defective. I was unable to get the cable back in time for a refund. The seller reached out and gave me a refund despite the return timeframe. Outstanding seller and will buy from again in future.

Had an issue with hdmi to display port adapter. Monitor would not stay connected. This solved the problem

I am using it right now to see what I am typing for this revue. When my wife wanted to upgrade to a larger TV, I ordered this cable to use the old 32 inch TV as a monitor on my desktop workstation. I am using my 22 inch monitor as a second monitor. This allows me to work on one screen with online instructions on the other. This cable works exactly as I expected.
