Colombia has one of the stronger national infrastructures for coffee growing, and that support shows in this lot from the famous growing region of Nariño. Smallholders do not often have access to the best equipment, but the farmers who grew this coffee used raised beds inside solar drying houses to ensure an even drying process that results in the clean, floral notes in the cup. This is state-of-the-art, and it is in part because of the Colombian government's support for its coffee growers.
