I am sending mine back as the seal at the tap site leaked.. had anyone else experienced this?

I had to tighten the nut holding tap inside the jar a little. Was not a problem afterwards.

Is this insullated? Please help

Sorry but no it's not insulated it's used for cold drinks, but I use mine for washing machine detergent.

Can I put boiling water from the kettle in to it?

If there were a seal the tap wouldnt work properly as it will draw a vacuum, needs to let air in to flow...
