Where is this axe made, Finland or China?

The one I just received from Amazon was Made in Finland...

Are these new all-black handled models made in Finland like the X-series axes?

Mine both say finland on the head.

Has anyone had a problem with the hollow handle breaking up?

I just split up about 20-30 logs, and smacked the handle at full force a bunch of times with nothing occurring but a marred finish. The hollowness actually helps to dissipate the force and it just bounces off.

What's the difference between this axe and the X27 with the 36" handle?

The difference is in the handle. The X-27 has the orange portion, which has a slightly tackier feel to it. I have 1 of each and can't say I prefer one to the other, they both work great.
