Great for keeping special garments
I bought two of these, along with several standard Space Bags, for storage of clothing for a 500 mile move. I put several sweaters in one, and a few of my husbands suits in another. Now I have one holding my wedding gown, but I am short and it's folded over itself. It will not be wrinkle free when I remove it, and you can tell it is not meant to hold something so long. But it's safe. The bag is a long flat version of a regular Space Bag, with a shower curtain style loop on the inside to have hangers hook onto. So you'll want to use flat hangers that you don't care much about because you won't see them for a while.Pros: - I guess this is a plus since it shows it does its job, but the bag gets REALLY heavy. It's good because it really holds a lot, but it's hard to move them from place to place. - The vacuum seal really stays on these. The standard Space Bags often lose the seal after several uses, but I haven't had that issue with the suit bags yet.Cons: - The hangers often slide off the loop inside of the bag that you hang them onto. This turns it from a nice flat hanger, into a big lump of clothes at the bottom of a hanging bag. - Clothes move around before you zip it up, so you have to be careful to not zip over a sleeve. - In the end you have a clear plastic bag hanging off a white hook. These would probably look nicer in your closet if they were opaque, but this is only $11 so who cares.

Seals While Hanging, DIY Suit Bag and other useful tips....
One word of advise for those considering this bag: the other (cheaper bags) require you to place the bag flat before you seal it (hanging hook screws into the vacuum valve). It doesn't seem like a big deal, until you have to do it. This Space Bag suit bag lets you load and seal it while still hanging on your rod, saving you wrestling and wrinkling your stuff before it's sealed. A BIG DEAL, buy this bag instead!Other tips: use hangers inside that don't have sharp edges (skirt hangers often have square edged clips), use a few t-shirts to wrap the hanger edges and end-tips before you seal, there's plenty of room at the top to do this. Use the slim, flocked skinny hangers. Make sure your double-zip seal is tight or it will have a slow or fast leak and make you very unhappy later. You don't have to fully seal the bag, a bit of extra air will prevent too many wrinkles later.Make your own El-Cheapo DIY Suit Hanger: use a regular (big) space bag as a hanging suit bag! Place your suits into it carefully. Now, here is the important part, BEFORE YOU SEAL, place a strong hanger that has a horizontal pant rail at the inside top (or bottom, depending on your perspective). This hanger will be placed upside down with the horizontal pant rail at the top edge of the bag. While sealing, make sure that this rail is tight up against the edge. Once sealed tight, you can use two giant binder clips from an office supply store to clip this DIY hanger bag to a sturdy regular hanger using the pant rail that is sealed inside as a rod to clip around. I hope this description makes sense. This isn't as convenient as these real bags, but it works!

An entire closet on one hanger
Let me start by saying I definitely stuffed more into the bag than is recommended...I managed to fit an entire closet (about 4ft wide), primarily of cold weather jackets, into a single bag. The process of getting them in without crumpling them into a ball was a bit exhaustive, but they did fit. I used the Amico White Green Plastic Compressed Vacuum Space Hand Air Deflation Pump for the entire process, which resulted in a pack about 4in thick. It still feels like there's some air that could be sucked out, but the pump nor the vacuum cleaner can get any more out of it, and given that I shoved about 150% of the recommended articles in, I'm extremely satisfied with the end result. My only complaint is that the design calls for hanging whatever articles of clothing you like from a loop attached to the top hook, making the bag longer than the original items placed inside, which can be cumbersome if you have a closet that isn't particularly tall, like mine.Other than that, a fantastic space-saving buy.

Good Quality, Easiest hanging bag to use
I ordered one each of the Whitmor hanging bag, the "Vacuum Sealing Hanging Suit Storage Bag" sold by Jed Mart and Space Bag brand hanging bag. All bags worked fine but the Space Bag is by far the superior quality. It seems like the quality of the plastic is thicker on the Space Bag. Also the zipper was much easier to close but the most important difference was the location of the vacuum port. On the Space Bag, I could hang the bag in the closet, add all the clothes, then vacuum seal while still hanging as the vacuum port was on the face of the bag. For the other two bags, to get to the vacuum port, you have to remove the hanger - meaning you have to lay the entire bag on the floor to seal. Not very convenient to say the least. If you are using the bags to save space and won't be getting into them much, any bag will work. If you intend to open the bags I'd recommend the Space Bag as it seems like it will definitely hold up to more openings and closing and is MUCH more convenient to reseal if you just want to reach in and grab a garment.

Space Bags are great for skunk problems!!!
I have never vacuumed the air out because I used them every single day while I was having trouble with skunks. My clean laundry immediately went from the dryer to the Space Bags (both folding and hanging bags). We opened and closed most of the bags at least a couple times a day with no rips. We opened the coat bag several times a day. This went on for weeks. When the skunks returned again the following year, I knew exactly what to do until they were caught and relocated. Years later, the bags are still in perfect condition. I've even used the hanging bags as travel bags in my car. I always keep them handy just in case the skunks come back again (NOOOooo!). I have become sort of an expert in managing skunk problems and these bags are one of my many tools. I'm currently in the process of moving and they're getting even more use. Maybe someday I will use them as designed (vacuum). Or not. :)
