Purchased this after scouring youtube for watch reviews. I have never owned an automatic watch, and wanted to dip my toes into the wide sea of offerings out there. After more deliberation than a sub $200 purchase probably deserved, I ordered the mako 2. When it arrived I was shocked by how beautiful it was, and a bit suprised that it wasnt as large as I imagined it. I have historically worn a large G-Shock watch, so I am used to big clunky blocks on my wrist.The bracelet was easy to adjust down to fit perfectly. I did have to remove 1 link and then use the 4 micro adjustments to get it right where I wanted it. But now its perfect.Sadly, this has only led me to want more watches, so while I would like to wear this watch to my grave, I am now sure I will be purchasing more, and Orient is at the top of the list. For the money it is hard to beat.

It's a replacement for the same model that got damaged when he accidentally hit something. It was too expensive to repair.

Firstly, i would like to say the watch itself is really beautiful and affordable. The blue looks great but i originally ordered the black one. I do not know why a blue one came in. The box that it came in also does not close well.

It’s a very nice watch, it could be used everyday or as a dress watch.Feels more expensive than what it is.

The finish is excellent. Easy to size and looks great. Over the last month I have bought 8 watches, including San Martin, Addisdives, and even a titianium Undone, by far the Orent outshines them all. Japanese quality, craftsmanship, and value found in this watch.

It is a nice looking watch, but day name and day number mechanism is not working right and you will have nothing but problems with setting a day and date. It’s quite heavy and if your hand is thick you won’t have enough space in bracelet. Time digits do not shine during the night so you you will have to have an extra light to see the time. You can get a 40$ watches with the same quality and functions. Do not buy.
