Low-Carb Beans, great!
I tried these when my son needed to go on a Low-Carb diet. They, like most beans, take on the flavor of what you are cooking them with. I used boiling water to start the overnight soak, but after 10 hours they were still too firm for cooking. So, I popped them in my pressure cooker and cooked them for about 15 minutes. They then had the consistency I like when I re-hydrate beans. I made some chili, with half of the beans, and bean soup, with ham flavoring, with the other half. Both turned out great! I would recommend these beans for anyone on a Low-Carb diet. The only drawback was the need for a pressure cooker, to rehydrate them. I have one, so it was no big deal. They are pricey, but anything with a "Low-Carb" label is these days. They are well worth the money for your Keto Diet.

High quality, Super tasting Black Soybean
The beans have very good quality and high germination rate(90%). It has very less split or skin broken beans(2%). I used for sprouting, soybean milk and soup. The beans taste very soft and creamy. Highly recommend!

Black Soybean Soup
This is a highly nutritious, high-protein food. Unfortunately, the recipe on the package back is only for cooked beans as a vegetable side. I bought it for making soup. There are several recipes online. The beans are very hard and must be soaked overnight to soften them a bit. I found a few online recipes for soup. Count on spending a good 2 hours on the stove on simmer (once brought to a boil) so the beans are softened. I used an immersion wand to break down the beans into a soup consistency. I added onions and carrots, garlic salt and other seasonings to give it flavor. Even with an immersion wand, the soup was still grainy. Very tasty. One bag equals two cups of dried beans. I used three cups of water per cup because I like a thicker soup (not too watery). My only objections are the amount of cook time required. In my opinion, I feel the beans are overpriced.

Great for keto! Good choice
This is the second time I have bought this brand and I'm very happy. What I like is that they are the only ones who seem to have black soybeans which is great for my keto diet since black beans regular are two starchy and higher in carbs than allowed on keto. I soaked them before I cook them and even when I cook them for a while they still have a texture so they don't just fall apart which I like. Some people like mushy beans but not me! Definitely will continue to purchase this item when I run out.

Great Low Carb Bean
I have looked everywhere for a source for black soybeans. My Whole Foods no longer carries the canned version. I am super happy with how these turned out. While they are quite expensive, the quality is quite good. There were very few shriveled beans. Because they are a bean with a delicate, thin skin, I used the "More" selection on the slow cooker of my Instant Pot. I did not pre soak them. I used 1 cup of rinsed beans, 3 cups of homemade stock, half a diced onion, one diced serrano, three garlic cloves, some cumin and Mexican oregano. I set the cook time for 7 hours before I went to bed, and then it simmered on low for another 5 hours (but I think that part isn't necessary). The beans were perfectly tender, and not over cooked. I used Helen Rennie's YouTube instructions for the process and added my own flavorings. I'm super excited to have a good source for beans! I paid a bit under $18, but I see the price has increased. Hopefully it will be a temporary increase, because I expect to need to purchase these again!

Taste good.
Delicious. Does not taste like yellow soybeans at all. I soaked them 24 hours and the. Cooked in an instant pot for 20 minutes and they were perfect. They taste like black beans to me. The beans are very clean looking. They are expensive. I was surprised by how small the bags are but that is on me as the weight was clearly listed. Iโll buy these again because of the nutrient profile.
